Eli Roth's (Hostel, Cabin Fever) next film will be an adaption of Steven King's newest book CELL.
RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, the third film in the series, will take place directly after the events of the second film, and will feature the surviving cast members. Good idea actually, as the second one was rather good.
WARNER BROS. is keeping it in the family, by hiring Jonah Nolan, to write the BATMAN BEGINS sequel for his brother Christopher. Aww, isn't that sweet.
Hollywood, it seems, has finally 'discovered' Neil Gaiman. Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Claire Danes, Charlie Cox, and Sienna Miller have all signed on to star in the adaptation of his first novel, STARDUST. DeNiro and Pfeiffer will be playing the bad guys in the film.
Going against type casting, some asshole has hired Jack Black to play Nicole Kidman's HUSBAND in the still untitled Noah Baumbach film. I just can't believe it.
Good gawd! CASINO ROYALE is turning into a huge clusterfuck. First, they hire the ugliest fucker they could find to play the character, Then he gets himself beaten up (hollywoodnorthreport.com) during filming, THEN the producers find out the idiot can't drive an ASTON MARTIN (nydailynews.com), NOW he wants to show off the full monty (digitalspy.co.uk). Yes, Daniel Craig want's to show us 007's package, in hopes that it make him a better Bond. | Promote this thread! | | The Vile1

Fans really aren't taking to Craig. But quite honestly, I feel the Jason Bourne movies have made 007 irrelevant. | TheMASKEDComputerGeek

Now THAT'S funny.
Anyone who doubts Craig in the 007 role needs to rent "Layer Cake" immediately. I don't know why all this negative press is leaking about the guy, but it's going to kill him in the starting gate, which kinda sucks because I think he's going to be fantastic in the role. | The Vile1

| #5 Posted on 8.3.06 1910.02 Reposted on: 8.3.13 1910.29 | I've seen Layer Cake. I think Layer Cake was a very good movie and Craig is a capable performer. He just might well work as Bond (Cerebus seems to disagree though), but the Bond movies have been in decline for a long time.
Now they are trying the Batman Begins formula with this latest Bond revamp. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
