And vice versa, considering what the end of the JR angle was. But it's Vince in March. He forgave Hogan in less time between Survivor Series '02 and Wrestlemania 19, which included the dictum that WWE will never do business with Hulk again.

Matt has to be a given. Finlay and Lashley in the match is weird but I guess they'll both get in based on their no contest? Finlay is a great wrestler and Lashley can be hidden in a ladder match as a power guy like Kane was last year, but both of them in this seems peculiar. I think M and N would be better fits, but I suppose if you've got Hardy, Shelton, and RVD to take the punishment -- and of course insane Flair -- then the match will be fine. It'll be very tough to approach last year's though.
Now, Booker T has no business in a ladder match with his injuries, although we're talking about the company who booked a TLC between a 57 year old man against a guy with a torn pec. If Boogey T is blown off at SNME, I don't know who's left for Booker, omitting the "a perfect spot for Paul London to get on the show and beat him clean with the SSP while Trinity debuts as his valet and takes out Sharmell!!!" suggestions. Awesomer than ever before, I really hope the B-Teezy gets a spot on the card this year. | SchippeWreck

...only if they're aiming for a long distance payoff of Matt using the Money in the Bank to take the title off of Edge. It would be the ultimate karmic payback for "Mr. Money in the Bank" and the REAL blowoff to their feud. (That is, if WWE is still bothering to acknowledge that feud.) | Mayhem

My votes would have to go for Lashley, Hardy & Booker T.
But it's a damn shame that the chances of MNM not being on the show are getting slimmer & slimmer. Had there not already been a ladder match at WM, I was hoping for an TLC-Era 2 match 'tween MNM, the Mexicools and London & Kendrick. | spf

Actually, that angle would probably be able to convince me to buy the replay of WM this year. (I have to say replay, lest RSN call me out again on my inability to watch WM live) | numbskull

I hope Hardy doesnīt get a spot! Heīs been in enough ladder and tlc matches and I donīt remember one single spot where he stood out and amazed me. He was just there. Like Kane and Edge last year!
I guess Booker will be in it and therefore the Boogeyman wonīt have a match at WM, but appear in some other form or fashion!
As far as the other 2 spots are concerned I would love to see Super Crazy and Helms, but I think Lashley and Finlay are more likley!
Besides that: MNM have to be at Mania!! A match against the Mexicools and Kendrik/London would be just perfect! With or without ladders!

The Lashley/Finlay no-contest could equally go in favour of some kind of streetfight, I guess. The idea of Booker being included kinda divides me. Putting him in such a high-profile match would be nice to see after their piss-poor booking of him recently. But then there's those nagging injuries....I doubt Booker would want to risk it unless he were going over. The TLC WWE Title match point is a valid one, but I suspect that was more of a "Crazy Old Man Flair" decision than a "Callous WWE Booking" one.
Really, at this point, I think I'd settle for them stretching the Boogeyman feud out 'til the big show. T's over as a heel, Boogey's over as a face, and it'd be a hot, albeit pretty terrible, match. It's a better choice than risking serious injury in a match where you're likely no more than filler, and it'd get him a nice fat WrestleMania payday. | Alpha Dog

Oh, I don't know, he and Bubba Ray going from mid-ring to the base of the ramp through a bunch of double-stacked tables (as the FINISH no less) in the insane WM X-7 TLC match was... slightly impressive. | numbskull

| #18 Posted on 12.3.06 1800.44 Reposted on: 12.3.13 1800.49 | Is there a reason why Animal is getting a free pass here for knocking his dead partner? His promo this week stated plainly that Animal was the driving force of the Legion of Doom and took shots at Hawk's drug problems.
How is this different from the use of Eddie's death to further a storyline or character motivation? Is it because there was a shorter time between Eddie's death and its use in the booking? | JustinShapiro

| #19 Posted on 12.3.06 1809.33 Reposted on: 12.3.13 1809.57 | Probably because after enough times, the villagers eventually stopped responding to the boy who cried "dead wrestler" to get cheap heat. But no, I think that, while unnecessary, Animal saying he carried the team while Hawk was pilled up was not as overwhelmingly tacky as making fun of him for being dead or saying that he's in hell.
It's a rerun, anyway. MNM already took the same shots at Hawk last summer. It's time to stop rehashing past exploitations and follow up on the freshness of Terry Gordy being dead.
