I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with this, but Ill bite.
What is the argument? Is it that Vince McMahon is not a generous person and Ted Turner is? Is it that Vince doesnt make as much money as Ted? Is it that Vince won round one against Ted but Ted still is the best?

Im going to assume that your argument is; Vince McMahon is not a generous person and Ted Turner is.

As your argument would suggest, Vince McMahon is nowhere near as great as man as Ted Turner because of financial donations. Vince is the money grubbing, self promoting, evil billionaire that his on air personality would suggest him to be.

It all makes perfect sense, right? Ted Turner donating to charities = Vince McMahon is a dirt bag.

The WWF also heavily promoted its "Headlock on Hunger" campaign and benefit show at Madison Square Garden. The program reportedly raised $100,000 for the Somalia relief effort.
"It's very disconcerting because we had a community relations director in place for years," said Mrs. McMahon. "If you were to come here and go through the community relations director's office, look at all the photographs, read all the letters from Make-A-Wish Foundation, March of Dimes, Jerry Lewis Telephon, Boys Clubs of America, the Children's Leukemia Foundation. We've been doing this work for years and years and years. We've never been very vocal or very public about it. We felt it was just the right thing to do and we've always enjoyed doing it.
"As a matter of fact, as a little aside, George Steinbrenner was at a recent awards ceremony, and George said, `It was such a pleasure to deal with the World Wrestling Federation athletes. Whenever we need somebody to be somewhere for one of the activities, they're there and are so professional. We really enjoy working with them. Your organization always steps up to the plate and never asks to be paid anything. It's really a pleasure working with the World Wrestling Federation.' That's the reputation we have in the world of charity. We've always done it enthusiastically. We've never done it with any other motives.

I know the attached article is old, borderline ancient. However IMO, Vince (and company) has done nothing that would indicate that his generosity has changed over the past 14 years. Be it by supporting the troops with live shows, Smackdown! your vote, visits to childrens hospitals, support for various social programs.etc, etc, etc These are off the top of my head but these actions indicate to me that the McMahons are still heavily involved with charity contributions and various outreach programs that have positive impacts to our society.

Linda McMahon We've never been very vocal or very public about it.

Criticizing Vince about green lighting horrible storylines or certain bad business decisions is acceptable. I just wouldnt go as far as comparing Turner to McMahon when discussing their relevance in assisting society. They both provide contributions to society. Easy as that! One must separate the on air personality from the real person (funny in most cases involving Vince I wouldnt be able to use that statement. In this case it fits).

If the argument is that Vince cant live up to the monetary value of the financial contributions provided by Turner, wellthat is just dumb. Ted Turner owns a pretty good share of the media market. Vince owns a wrestling company.
