So I got a new job doing data entry, and while it's very very easy, it's also very very boring. Fortunately my boss said I can bring my iPod to listen to at work so I've been looking for some good podcasts to listen to and I thought it'd be a good topic here.

My favorite one so far is probably Ebert and Roeper's podcast. Even though I rarely agree with them I'm a huge movie fan so I enjoy listening to movie reviews. Some others that I like are the Geek Pastor, which features a Pastor who talks about "geek" topics like video games, comic books etc. And Tv Guide Talk which has a few people who work for tv guide getting together and discussing current tv shows and movies, although I must warn you spoilers do pop up sometimes.

Most definitely X-Play's Video Podcast. Nothing like watching Splinter Cell Co-Op Theater on the go.

The only podcast I'm really a subscriber of is the PWTorch podcast, so lets go with that.

I like the Observer one, Meltzer and Alvarez. Whoever cuts it together for podcasts form could be doing a better job, but he always brings the guests and that kind of good stuff. I think I like Konnan as a guest even more than I find I can't watch him as a worker.

I like Wrestlecrap's radio show: I download it to my MP3 player and listen to it to and from work.

As a Lost junkie, I think I have to go with ABC's official LOST podcast, which is much better than you'd think.

The Q&A session at the end typically makes the whole thing.

Insomnia Radio is pretty great. Lots of unsigned (yet awesome) bands and stuff about the west coast scene.

Ask A Ninja. Technically, it's a videoblog and not a podcast, but you can subscribe to it in the podcast section of iTunes, so it counts.

Mostly shows from KCRW... Morning Becomes Eclectic, Music Exchange (segment with Steve Lamacq), and Good Food. But don't forget PTI, Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?, and The Poker Edge (which would be greeeeeat if I could subscribe to it on iTunes, but for some reason, it doesn't show up in the iTMS). Perfect for driving to the most far-off games you can schedule.

In unrelated news, anyone know of any other good soccer or poker podcasts? I was hoping Nick Geber and Steven Cohen (hosts of Fox Football Friday and a show on Sirius) would have one, but something about various top-flight leagues, the numerous cups, etc.

As a huge fan of HomestarRunner.com, I'm very happy to see the Strong Bad e-mails on iTunes. Needlessly to say, it's quickly become one of my faves.

adam carolls radio show and/or loveline

many sports teams now have podcast shows

I would recommend getting something like replay radio so you can record whatever radio show you want.

Was Mr. Tony's show podcasted towards the end there?

And there's this Joe Vs. The World podcast that's pretty good.

I'm not sure that you can. I've played around with the podcast feature a bit, but I haven't seen a place for authentication on it. You should email a request to TiVo support.

//edit: Because its a good request, not because I don't want to help.

Through the leading MST3K website, I found a podcast called Subject: Cinema. The second issue of the podcast was devoted entirely to a discussion about MST, and it was pretty decent. Being a fan of movies, I'm going to keep listening.

Other than that, Ebert and Roeper is the only other one I listen to on any kind of regular basis.
