Calif. girl's prosthetic legs stolen for 2nd time

How screwed up is that? What kind of market is there for a prosthetic leg? They couldn't find anything easier to fence?!

I gotta give the kid props for her attitude though:

Eh, to answer the "what kind of market is there?" question, the article did say that some real estate company donated $16,000 to replace the first one.

But, yeah, what kind of fucked-up person goes into someone's house and steals her prostetic limbs? Not that any cruelty human beings can inflict on one another surprises me much anymore.

My first thought the "market" could be pawn shops. My other thoughts are anywhere they can get cash from it.

I'm guessing a pathetic kleptomaniac, but it might also contradict my opinion on the theive's plans with the limb.
