Those two are from a series which this website(ReflectionsOrders.com, who donated thousands to the Bush campaign) erased as soon as they discovered they still had them online. You can't even find them in archive.org anymore.

Call Clinton - see iif he remembers me. I have 11 picures in two settings with him. Not t the White house though. The one setting (a book signing), there were about 2000 of us lined up to take the picture and Bubba was manly and happy with each of us. The other was at a fundraiser back when I was much younger and more liberal (I still thought that the government had some answers. I know one thing: Bush#1 didn't have any). Bubba wasn't el presidente yet, but he took a LOT of pictures that day in 1991. He even took my Dale Earnhardt hat off my head, put it on and took a picture with me that way.
And I am sure he remembers me. Ok, maybe my $100 (maybe it was 200)

You assume I'm that one-sided. If Reid was involved with this, too, boot him out.
I don't care who was seen with this guy. If his corrupt funds were supporting them, they should be punished.
The point is, Abramoff raised over $100,000 for the Bush-Cheney '04 campaign. Abramoff claims they met "just under a dozen" times. Yet Bush claims to have never even had a conversation with him. You'd think someone who raised you and your buddies that much cash would be hard to forget.

Originally posted by CRZIs $100,000 really "that much" in these days? Seriously.
For just one campaign? No. But Abramoff extorted over five million dollars from casinos to buy influence with a whole host of figures on Capitol Hill. Tom Delay, Dennis Hastert, Bill Frist, Roy Blunt. Plenty of Republicans, plenty of Democrats. Here is a chart from our friends at The Washington Post...

Does that make it ok?
I find myself wondering what the Fox News spin would be if it had been Clinton in this position and the exact same scenario happened. Wouldn't we be getting all sorts of complaints about the corruption in the White House?
Seriously, it's not that hard. Bush's people and lots of other people on both sides got dirty money. Bush most likely spoke to him, along with lots of other contributors, maybe gave him a dumb nickname and told him to talk to his staff about whatever Abramoff was talking about. To have people playing dumb on this is insulting. The dude was passing around millions of dollars, of course he got stuff from both sides. In this case he tilted more to the GOP, mostly because the GOP controls everything and has for the last 6 years. It happens. This time someone went too far and got caught. It's the trying to seem totally innocent and incorruptible on the part of the White House that keeps this story churning.
