A complete listing of all the episodes and their dates and results. Thanks WWE, now how about a "Best of" DVD?

I still prefer the results listed at the Pro Wrestling History site (prowrestlinghistory.com) - they're also less likely to just disappear at some random time in the future like a lot of the other WWE "history" pages seem to do...

That was the thing about Saturday Night Main Event... that was when you didnt see big named people wrestle each other on the regular TV shows.. too thats when a fued would be built up over 4-5 months to really get a good story going.. but that was when there was the big 4 pay per views... The Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam and The Survivor Series

I recall that the SNME crowds always seemed in a frenzy for the show. Probably because it was the unofficial fifth big show of the year.

Forgive me, since the only SNME that I ever watched live was on Fox in 1992, but didn't the NBC Sports crew film these things back in the 1980's?

Wasn't the infamous Hebner twins screwjob done during an SNME episode? Can't find it in there.

The Hebner twins ordeal did go down on a SNME...however, since they left WWE on bad terms, WWE has begun the process of minimizing their impact on things...

Andre the Giant won the WWE Championship on an episode of "The Main Event" aired February 5, 1988. It was on a Friday night.

If memory serves me correctly, that was the first live show on TV the WWF had done to that point.

A "Best of" DVD sounds great to me ...

BUT why not make it a Anthology like the WM Anthology??

If theyd use those doublesided DVDs they jused for Mania theyd only need 6 DVDs for all 31 SNMEs (1 SNME approx. 1 hour and one DVD (side) has approx. 3 hours, right?)!

How about that WWE?
