They aren't a family that is OK with casual nudity - he's trying to shock her. That means it would shock the kids too. This guy wants to shock kids with his soapy manhood.
There's no better pairing than a naked man and children's shows.
I'm glad someone else noticed that part. The kids leave the room, and suddenly the guy is standing up in the tub.
At the least, they could have made it where the wife was moving around. She talks to the kids, then she checks up on the husband taking a bath. Maybe she knocks, and then when there's no answer she just walks in, and is shocked to see the guy standing up with a sponge on his head. She asks what he's doing, and we get the punchline.
That's how the commercial should have gone. Instead of this display of irresponsible parenting. | CRZ

Couldn't you people be spending your time better picketing the Burger King world headquarters in person? (Make sure to spell at least one word wrong on your signs...it's an attention getter!)

Cut to a Hard Rock Live-esque arena with a bunch of music-crazy fans yelling "ALKA SELTZER ALKA SELTZER." Then some FOTM pop-punk band comes out and sings the "Plop Plop Fizz Fizz" song while the crowd waves a glass of Alka Seltzer like it was a Bic lighter. Truly appalling. | drjayphd

The sad thing is, if the titles are to be believed, that was just some guy who won a songwriting contest. I hope he stole all the gear afterwards. | pieman

Considering the whole gag revolves around some guy standing up in a tub... that's probably more thought than the writers put into it. ;) | ImNotaWrestler

I hate that Snickers commercial so bad that I actually change the channel now whenever it comes on. Lately my daughter has taken to singing that song whenever she wants to irritate me. I would love to see wrestlings Jeff Jarrett suddenly appear and smash that guy over the head with his own guitar.
I disliked all of the Starburst commercials until the one with the weird singing berries & cream guy came along. The commercial is so odd that I actually like it for some strange reason. Maybe it's just the Monty Python fan in me. | Eddie Famous

Anyone else notice they changed the first one of these? When it first aired the guy was "gellin' like a felon". I imagine someone complained, so it was changed to "gellin' like Magellan".

"I'm tired of your bullshit." Yes, uncensored.
They've been running it all afternoon, at least during the various Trek episodes.
EDIT: This afternoon they started to become censored.

I don't think I've ever agreed with you as much as I do right now
Along with that, we have commercials for Bally's here with this woman who starts off saying "are you looking at me? Well I'm looking at you." and proceeds to just annoy the crap out of me every time I see the ad. |
