Speaking of Sting in TNA... Is this thing about Final Resolution being his last match a work? Or was he really only signed on for the PPV and nothing more?

Its a work. Jarrett is going to taunt him forcing him out of retirement to face him at Lockdown apparently.

If it isn't, than all that bullshit for the last couple of months was totally pointless. All this fanfare of making Sting a permanent member of the roster and supposedly securing him to one year, half a million dollar contract. Not to mention, CHANGING THE FACE OF WRESTLING FOREVER.

Whilst we're on the subject, am I the only one who thinks that the Crow image simply DOESN'T work when the performer has short hair? That's been bugging me for a while now.

Boffo your sig so close

In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being stereotypes. Stereotypes are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.

There, isn't that better?

The Crow image doesn't work when Steve Borden talks, unfortunately. Never has. He can come out in the face paint and black trench coat, but when he opens his mouth, he's still all like: "Wooooooooooo! All my little Stingers are in the house tonight!"

I think all he needs to do is change up the facepaint. The black strands are dated, and white really isn't needed anymore. A domino mask pattern would work well with his 'dark avenger' look.

On another negative point of his comeback- what are the chances of Sting feuding with some of the younger guys? I'm excited about him being back but can't say a Jarrett vs Sting feud all year is going to make me a regualr viewer.

I think we need the old "surfer" Sting back. There's absolutely no reason for him to still have the "Crow" look going for him eight years after his war with the nWo ended. If you're gonna be an avenging angel, you gotta have something to avenge.

And, yeah, the "Wooo! All my little Stingers are in the house!" thing doesn't work when Steve Borden speaks. Unless he's doing the "You-- you've got no guts. And you-- you're a dead man!" thing that he did-- his first words after donning his arguably most famous persona.

I thought that Sting needed to go back to the surfer Sting look too, but I'm sure he's not as ripped as he once was, something that his latest get-up hides (abs in particular).

Plus, something about a guy that's almost forty wearing hot-colored face paint and having a blond crew cut just doesn't seem right.
