| #1 Posted on 6.1.06 0946.21 Reposted on: 6.1.13 0959.01 | With the demise of Trio, Time Warner graciously filled the slot with the new NBC-Universal offering, SLEUTH. No website yet, and I hear ONLY Time Warner systems are currently carrying the channel. I stole the lineup from another message board - tell me this isn't the greatest assemblage of shows you've ever seen in your life:

Seeing "Homicide" at 3am takes me back to some good old days when I would tune in Court TV at 3am without fail every weeknight for almost two entire runs' worth of the series. With the possible exception of "Simon & Simon," I don't think there's a show on here I didn't watch regularly (okay, I missed most of the "LA Dragnet" episodes - and probably will again). Nice to see "EZ Streets" move over from Trio as well. Of course, I can easily rattle off a dozen series that SHOULD be put into this lineup, but for now I will be more than happy with what I get.
Oh, and ALSO their "movie" slot sometimes gets filled with 2 hour series pilots - "Magnum, p.i." was on last night, for instance. I think they showed the first "Columbo" movie earlier this week, too.
To conclude: I will watch this channel as much as I'm NOT watching "Current"

You bet. This channel has been on nearly non-stop since the 1st. Last night was the first time I've seen the MagPi pilot run straight through...limited commercials too. Or maybe it's just the kind of commercials that don't seem to take FOREVER
According to the promos, all sorts of goodies are coming...Scarface and Casino to name two. No idea if movies like this will air unedited - it kinda kills the point to play them if they are chopped to bits. We'll find out soon enough, I guess
FLEA
Also - a better logo is below ;-)...and programming info until an actual site appears!
http://www.nbccableinfo.com/insidenbccable/schedules.html
UPDATE- per the "Media Contact", it appears the movies are going to be "network versions", which means...well...Casino and Scarface sure are going to SUCK (although maricon always manages to slip through. just not *fuckin'* maricon.) Minor complaint, the rest of the programming rules, so far

They don't appear to have any sponsors yet (well, except for that wacky BOSS dude and, of course, The Video Professor) - it's a lot of NBC/Uni ads, which means RAW HOMECOMING and MONK MONK MONK occasionally punctuated by "Inside the Actors' Studio" (what, no gay shows? I guess they ARE stereotyping the channel's demographic - Sleuth, I mean, not BRAVO) and surely ads for the Olympics are just around the corner.Originally posted by RYDER FAKIN Also - a better logo is below ;-)...and programming info until an actual site appears!
YOU shrink that logo into something legible :-P but that grid makes me weep with joy - I may print that out and give funky colours to ALL their series!
You know what ELSE is amazing? EVERY show is ONE HOUR. Movies are TWO HOURS. I didn't see that until I saw that grid but of course it makes perfect sense.

Hey, you gotta fill 24 hours, and it was probably pretty cheap. Also, Carla Gugino is a grade A-minus babe, and the channel was kinda hurtin for those, Melissa Leo notwithstanding.
ETA: I know it's a sitcom, but let's get some love for "Barney Miller", Sleuth channel!

This Carla Gugino fan is almost in tears over your post.
Also, if you hadn't noticed, SIMON & SIMON and THE EQUALIZER were both CBS shows and LA DRAGNET was on ABC.
I hope the get more Aaron Spelling shows, I'd kill to see RIPTIDE again... you gotta love a show that features a pink helicopter. | ICEMAN

A minus? How does she get an A minus. She's a full on A+ if anything?
Anyway back on topic, I don't see this coming to Comcast and If it does it'll be about 3 years from now. And if it had "Barney Miller" my dad would call every hour of every day asking for it. | Torchslasher

At least those other shows mentioned lasted longer than one season and had some kind of measurable fan base. All I get here are a few people who like the actress from the show. Be honest, did any of you watch the show regularly when it was on ABC?
Seriously though, I know what the station is going for, and if they think anyone will watch it, then they should go for it. That show just stood out to me as being a show that won't get watched a second time around as no one watched it the first time around. | CRZ
