It's the new "This is Sportscenter" ad. As Dan Patrick has an IRL car towed from his space, Danica Patrick comes out yelling "That's my car!" Dan looks over at the sign that says "Parking reserved for D. Patrick" and sheepishly goes "Well...it's an honest mistake."

Yes...the guy on the boombox just registers this incredible annoyance at being interrupted. Awesome spot.

Technically, it's a Nextel commercial, but yeah, they're the same deal now.
My vote is for any and every Jack in the Box commercial. Particularly the one in the current rotation that ends in "I WANT A STRING! I WANT A STRIIIIIIING!" | Jobberman

| #10 Posted on 30.12.05 0950.20 Reposted on: 30.12.12 0950.22 | Here's a blast from the past: The Philips Light Bulb commercial. This is done from memory, so any "old timers" that remember the 80's can feel free to correct me.
It starts with an old man and woman sitting at a table, illuminated by a single light bulb above the table. The old man just slowly sips his soup from his spoon as his wife stares at him.
Wife: "Oh Harold, the magic is gone from our marriage. Every time the lights go out, you fall asleep!"
The light bulb flickers, then goes out. Then there is a *thud/splash* sound followed by the sound of the man snoring in his soup bowl.
"Philips Light Bulbs"
Current favorites - the Domino's 3 for $5 each commercial where the dad allows "lamp time". My wife thinks (and I agree) that that is *so* me. Second favorite is the Miller Lite christmas light display to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra music. I'd also like to add to the love for the Sprint/Nextel commercial - I absolutely loved it the first time I saw it.
I am looking forward to seeing the upcoming Pepsi "Devil Went Down to Georgia" commercial as it sounds like that should be pretty cool.

My current favorite is the guy with the Snickers toupee.
The look on his face when he's trying to deny the Snickers is priceless and seeing that guy sitting alone, crying in the car with those Snickers on his head kills me.
I REALLY want to make a Snickers toupee for a friend who's always complaining about starting to lose his hair, but I doubt he's seen the commercial and would therefore totally miss the joke.

The Skittles commercial that has the guy that reminds of me Cheech.
He is sitting in a birds nest with the baby birds. The mother bird then swoops by and feeds the man (birdie style) a bunch of skittles. After the bird takes he shouts "Thank you, thank you very much!"
And,
The Baja Starburst commercial.
Baja starburst is like a mariachi band in the mouth. The actor eats the candy. We then go inside his mouth to see a performing mariachi band being flooded (to their demise) by a river of fruit flavor.
Both commercial are so insanely ridiculous, I can't help but laugh at them. | ekedolphin

| #13 Posted on 31.12.05 1634.13 Reposted on: 31.12.12 1634.58 | I like the (I think it's) Dish Network commercial in which someone who just has regular cable is all, "My TV sucks!" And the TV is literally sucking in various things around the room-- toys, balls, cats, and such. Hilarious commercial.
I was also a sucker for the Bud Light "I LOVE YOU MAN!" commercials back when they were fresh, new and hilarious. But they got overplayed and they made too many spin-offs of it.
Oh, how about the old Tropicana commercials in which a catchy little jingle plays as about thirty oranges roll past this woman who's trying to catch one with a straw? To this day, whenever I go to Burger King, I hum that jingle as I insert my straw into my carton of Tropicana orange juice. Naturally, it often requires multiple attempts, which adds to the humor.

if you haven't seen it, it is basically Lebron playing himself (a.k.a. "athlete Lebron"), "All Business" Lebron (wears a suit, smooth and classy), "Wise" Lebron (old timer with charisma) and "Young" Lebron (young hyper kid, scaled down to look smaller than the rest of the characters.)
it is funny only for the fact that Lebron has such charisma and acting chops that he nails every character perfect and within the 30 second time limit it comes off as being just enough to not be too much. | Alpha Dog

Peyton has fantastic comic timing, and I'm actually cheering for the Colts to win the Super Bowl just to see Peyton host Saturday Night Live (which I've predicted since these commercials started airing last season would be awesome).
I also love the creepy Burger King ads, especially when they were just beginning. The one where the guy saw the King in his yard, looked away, and then the King was right in front of him was awesome and chilling.
Since we're referencing older school commercials, I am partial to another BK series, the office worker series from like 2 years back. They had motifs going through them and actually evolved (eventually turning incredibly mean-spirited, especially when crushing the spirit of the little guy in the group). I love the one where the slutty brunette bites the guy's sandwich and his friend says it's like he just made out with her. Then said guy slowly starts kissing the bite mark left by the brunette. | drjayphd

The best aspect of that one is at the end of the commercial where he still gives a "how's it going?" to the table despite the stunt.
