I think you underestimate not only the addiction to Coke (or other sodas) that many people have, but also the brand recognition Coca-Cola enjoys. | FurryHippie

I remember it tasting like Coca-cola with coffee in it. I was addicted to it, and I don't like Coca-Cola or Coffee, but together it was amazing.

As for coffee-flavored soda, anybody ever try Jolt? I swear that stuff tastes like cold, kinda flat coffee. Has about as much caffeine too, if I remember correctly.

Not to start a fight, but I actually would be surprised that Coke would be *that popular in France, given the Franco-American relationship (see: EuroDisney). Or possibly that's more of their politicians demagoging American symbols, as ours do with "Freedom Fries" and such from time to time.
