As a Chargers fan, with the obligatory Raiders hatred, it kills me to have to hope that they bring their A Game next week and catch a Broncos team looking ahead to the playoffs / Chargers.
So I ask you - is there any chance that this late in the season the Oakland Raiders will even bother to put together enough of a game to beat the Broncos? | Promote this thread! | | EddieBurkett

Allegedly, the reason he only got a one week trial in favor of Collins was because Al Davis HATES the Jets and wanted to be sure to screw them out of the race for Reggie Bush. If they want to lie down for the Broncos, that's probably the first move they'd make.
Edit: Damn, Tuiasoposo is *so* close... Am I reading their roster page right that they have two of them on the roster? Brothers?

Then again, maybe losing a home game to the Browns and getting blown out by the Jets proves they're not giving 100%.

Yes. Marques is the older brother. They both went to the UW, as did their sister Leslie who was a volleyball player. Their little brother Matt should be the current Husky QB, but the Mariners gave him a boatload of cash so he's playing baseball instead. | redsoxnation

Kerry Collins would like nothing more than to screw Big Blue. Should the Raiders show up on X-Mas Eve, that could make it a potentially huge New Years Eve game between the Chargers and the Broncos, providing of course that San Diego finds a way to defeat Kansas City in K.C. in December, where the Chiefs are virtually invincible. However, should the Broncos and Chargers game be for the division title, there will be many people in the Pittsburgh region forgiving the Broncos for beating them in the AFC Title Game a few years ago, as the Chargers winning the division would knock out Pittsburgh, unless Jacksonville loses to both Houston and the Titans. | HairRaiser

If it makes you feel better, sleep with the knowledge that the Chiefs probably aren't going to get in either - they need Pittsburgh to lose to the Lions, which would be one of the biggest upsets in the history of mankind at this point considering how Detroit has played recently. | Torchslasher

Agreed. As a Raider fan, I wish nothing but fiery death upon the Broncos. I'm much more in favor of the Chiefs or Chargers winning the division.
Thankfully, both the Chiefs and Chargers are out of the playoff picture (hey, I never said I LIKED the Chargers). | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
