Inspired by the board game question.

Poker first (in any of its forms that don't use wild cards). Next would be spades, then a Korean game called Go-Stop (tiny cards RULE!).

Rummy or Hearts, if we're not counting games that involve playing for money.

I play my share of no limit hold-em on line at pacificpoker.com

Used to play a lot of hearts, but it's rare anymore

Does it have to be card-card games? Like poker and such? 'Cause I hate those.

But man, I loves me some (now defunct) Star Wars Customizable Card Game.

I am a poker junkie.

Other than that, I love a good game of hearts.

Well, I've blown a good deal of money on blackjack through the years. And, particularly through this past week. And, I almost flunked out of high school and college due to playing high-low-jack.

Canasta, Cribbage, Gin Rummy.

I never did take a liking to Texas Hold'em poker, or those Pokemon-style trading card games.

I'm not bad at Gin Rummy.

There's a game called "Take the Lead" that we used to play for hours on end -- I don't know how common a game it is, or if that's even the official name for it, or what. I tried Googling "card games" and "take the lead" and got like a billion hits that were no help.

Mao. Mao is the greatest card game in the history of card games, but extremely frustrating to those who haven't played it before. Once you've played it a few times, though, it's one of the most fun card games ever.

Bridge and Poker.

Yes a 20 year old on the board does play Bridge, but not with anyone my age.

We're a Pinochle family. It wasn't unusual to have games run from dusk to dawn, and they were just as cutthroat as our Trivial Pursuit games. We never played for money but the pride of winning/shame of losing or causing your partner to lose was well worth it. Games aren't as frequent as most of the hardcore Pinochle players were older members of the family who have passed on or don't travel. But we still get a game going every now and again and it's as fun as ever to drive people crazy by sandbagging to draw out their trump.

Does Computer Solitaire count? I used to play it with cards before I got a computer.

I'm just learning Texas Hold'em, after watching Celebrity Poker and wanting to learn.

My sister always makes me play Phase 10. It's fun, but she always wins, no matter what card game we play.

I'm just learning Texas Hold'em, after watching Celebrity Poker and wanting to learn.

May I suggest that your first lesson be not to take back ANYTHING you see on Celebrity Poker, other than the words of Phil Gordon.

I play a lot of poker. My favorite games, in order:

- 7 Card Stud
- 5 Card Draw
- Omaha Hi/Lo
- 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo
- Omaha
- Texas Hold 'Em
- Razz
- Deuce to Seven Lowball
- Ace to Five Lowball

I usually prefer Pot Limit to No Limit, but it's near impossible to find ANY live games outside of Texas Hold 'Em, so I rely primarily on the Internet.

My addiction to the game has resulted in my Not Updating My Website Since June.

My wallet has also found itself fluctuating from fat to thin, depending on the particular stretch of gaming. I'm up about $2000 (US) since I started playing regularly in May.

I love me some cards!
