I am not good at that game. I am the anthropomorphic incarnation of the game.

I wish I still lived in Visalia. Because it would be ON.

I also kick the ass at Clue and hold my own at Risk/Monopoly because of my patience.

Best game none of you have?

I'm in the same boat. No matter what party game is played, it always comes down to me vs. everyone else.

My favorite is Clue. Scattergories is a close second. Third is Trivial Pursuit, but no one likes to play against me anymore. :)

Forgot one more- Roy's "ass" comment reminded me of it- I love playing Tribond, but nobody in my family wants to play that either, because they think it's too hard. Hence, I haven't played it in a while.

Scrabble rules.

And Chess (remember that game?)

Tribond: met the creator of that game years ago. Good fellow.

What do the Rams, Ravens and the President of the United States have in common?

A: They all used to be Cleveland.

I'm in the same boat with TP since at the risk of touting, I usually win and win big thanks to my head full of useless information that's tailored to it.

Also, my family is very big on Scrabble, except that my mom is a tournament player and she's used me for a sparring partner many times. As always, one of the things on my agenda for when I go down to Boca next week is "FINALLY, ONE TIME, WIN". I'm capable of beating good players and all, but when it comes to Scrabble, Mom is my El Guapo.

If you like five-card Sorry, you should check this out. It's a parody of Candy Land in which Gingerbread Men strive to escape from Candy Land before they can be eaten--and since only one can escape, they hack each other to pieces on the way. Someone's about to win? Bring him into a Candy Cage Match!

In our family, the board game is Pictionary. My sister and I are on a psychic wavelength with each other when we play. Cranium is also fun. I played SceneIt once and thought it was great. We also play a lot of Uno. I got a couple of cousins into Fluxx.

Nobody will play me at Trivial Pursuit. (I used to read the questions from the Baby Boomer Edition all the time. If they ask about a congressman, the correct answer is Adam Clayton Powell, Jr.)

We have two different versions of Balderdash. I don't believe they make it any more. I am good at this game because the skill is making up things that sound believable that end up being preposterous.

The in-laws love Balderdash. That's why I know what a "haha" is. Haha!

I'll add a shout-out to Tribond as well. My college friends (two couples), my wife, and I played that at get-togethers and we mopped up. That was a lot of fun.

I am the KING of Monopoly, bay-bee.

Like many of you, I am unwanted in any Trivial Pursuit-game. Or anything with trivia, ESPECIALLY sports trivia.

My company did a couple of displays for the company that make the "SceneIt?" games, and the company gave us a couple of games as swag. We've played a couple times with our neighbors and they were surprisingly fun. They tire quickly of Mrs. JJD and I kicking their butts, so the other day we switched to a DVD version of "Family Feud", and that was surprisingly fun.

Of course, most of the family get-togethers that WOULD have been for games now get taken up by Texas Hold'em.

Put me down for Risk as #1, with Chess up there as well. Unfortunately, no one will play Risk with me anymore.

Yes, I am another nerd who can't get anyone to play him at Trivial Pursuit. It is so sad.

I loved Stratego, that game was awesome.

Aggravation caused many a marble to whipped at an opponent.

They really need an online Trivial Pursuit so we can create a community of people no longer welcome by their home game and out for blood on a world wide level.

It's a nice idea, but how would you prevent cheating? In the home version, you can't run and Google something.

To answer the question, I love Monopoly the most. Problem is, there's always an hour long argument over whose set of modified rules we're going to use. I'm a strict "official rules" man, myself.

I am down with all of the Trivial Pursuit love as well.

We used to have this game that was a rip off of Stratego, but it had an electronic "battle pad" that you put your pieces on when you faced each other and it would give you the winner (by beeping for one player or the other) without revealing what your piece was. I think it was called Generals or something.

But, I must concur with Shem. I will never play another board game that gives me as much entertainment value as Dark Tower.

I loved Sorry as a kid. But Monopoly was the best. I loved taking over the entire street between Jail and Free Parking. I didn't know until I was an adult that Free Parking was really just a free space and you didn't get money.

Now...it has to be SceneIt. I have the regular version and I just picked up the TV version at a Big Lots going out of business sale for $15.
