Manchester V. Cancer is an event/charity show being put on January 28th. Andy Rourke, guitarist for the group has talked Johnny Marr into performing with him for the event. This will be the first time Johnny and Andy have performed together on stage since 1987, when the group dissolved.
Morrissey will also be on the show performing a song or two from his upcoming album RINGLEADER OF THE TORMENTORS, which he is calling a 'continuation' of his last album YOU ARE THE QUARRY.
This year, we were graced with a Pink Floyd reunion, thanks to Bob Geldolf; lets hope Andy can pull this reunion off as successfully. | Promote this thread! | | Big Bad

When Ringo played with George, Paul and John separately, nobody ever called it a Beatles reunion. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
