My wife and I still give each other stockings at Christmas, and we have custom made stockings, about two feet long and twelve inches at the toe, and stretchy. I have bought some cheap CDs and a DVD to put in there and some girly hygeine products, but the stocking is only half full. Any ideas?

maybe jewelry? you don't ALWAYS have to go all out with something incredibly expensive. but maybe a silver bracelet or necklace with a pendant. those usually aren't that expensive. And women love jewelry. it's a fact.

Well, we're perhaps a little older. I put the usual snacky stuff in there (in our case, Boston Baked Beans candy, gummy bears and Nutterbutter singles), a pair of Christmas socks (I found ones with Rudolph on them), a small angel ornament, and some sort of stuffed animal.

Little food items (candy, snack food) are good especially if you know what her favorites are. Warm fuzzy socks, one of those fancy little knit scarves, gloves, fancy hot drink packets (hot chocolate, cider), tea, small packets of coffee, funky kitchen utensils she's been meaning to buy, breath mints, purse sized lotion and other stuff of that kind. Anything small and thoughtful is good. Mini bottles of liquor/wine. If you go to Cost Plus they usually have huge amounts of stocking stuffer type stuff this time of year. Target has also had a bunch of stuff in the dollar bins, but it hasn't been as good recently.

Anyways, my ex used to love getting letters. I would write a nice letter every year telling her what she meant to me, and how much I loved her.

Let's just get the lame pun out there, since I know a good number of you are just ITCHING to use it:
I'll tell ya what the ladies like for a stocking stuffer...ME.
Alright, now that's out of the way.

My advice: keep it simple. I've found that you can't go wrong with chocolates and perfumes. Then again, I guess you can go wrong if you combine the two and give her Chocolate Perfume.

Judging by the size of your stockings (How did they get so big anyways, genetics?) I suggest the big waste of $$.
