For me, its socks. I never wear socks more than once. I buy new socks each week. I figure I dont smoke or drink soda, so the money I would be spending on those items, MORE than pays for my new, clean sock habit. | Promote this thread! | | Karlos the Jackal

About all I can think of is I don't walk on manhole covers, sidewalk grates, anything like that. I always walk around them. I figure sooner or later one will collapse and someone will fall in, and it's not going to be me.
I asked my wife if I had any strange quirks, and she said, "well, you get emotionally involved in wrestling."

My quirk: when I go to the movies, I stay until the VERY END of the credits.

You should bag them up and after a year donate 365 barely used pairs of socks to the local Goodwill. It might be worth it to see their face as you walked in with them. I always said that if I won the lottery I'd never wear the same pair of underwear twice....(I've heard of celebrities doing this)
One of my "things" is lint filters. I work in a group home with two laundry rooms. Before my shift can begin, I have to visit each dryer and check the lint filters and clean them out if needed.
Also, even though I haven't worked in a supermarket in years, I still find myself "facing" the products when I'm shopping . (Ex. pulling the all the cereal boxes forward, making them even and lined up).
I've never seen "Monk" but laughed hard at the promo where he "evened" up the coffee pots despite the fact that one was regular and one was decaf.
I also pick up pennies, sometimes check change slots in a row of vending machines/payphones and check discarded scratch tickets "just in case". | Rudoublesedoublel

OOOH, I have to face the exit too! Cant STAND to have my back to the exit. Not sure why.
Oh, and I give all my socks to my roommate, she works in a stable and she gets absolutely FILTHY stuff on her shoes/socks all the time. So, they do go to a good cause.

| #10 Posted on 21.11.05 2026.50 Reposted on: 21.11.12 2028.30 | When I speed, I always go about 7mph over, because 5 miles over is too slow, and I think cops will be more likely to pull me over if I'm going 10 over. If I'm speeding on the freeway for over an hour or so and suddenly remember that I haven't seen a cop car, I knock on my wood umbrella handle 5 times.
When I stand up, I always pat down my back right pocket and my two front pockets. It started because I almost lost my wallet a couple of times due to wearing baggy pants. So I always check: wallet, cell phone, lighter, cigarettes, car keys.
If I'm waiting for a cashier to ring up my stuff and see a crooked stack of coupons, I'll straighten it. I think it's because I worked as a cashier for a year and always got annoyed when people would mess up the stacks of coupons or forms that we'd have to keep out therem. | drjayphd

I'm sorta like that too. I always eat all of my fries first, no matter what else is in front of me, and I always save the main entree for last.
