I am forever getting messages pop up on my task bar in little cartoon boxes telling me stuff I don't care about. Like when my wireless connected chages from weak to good or good to small.

I want to turn them off, but I don't know how. Mostly cause I am not sure what they're called. I have tried pop-up messages, messages, task bar messages - nothing.

Any ideas

The official answer from Microsoft. They're "balloon tips" if you're wondering.

I knew I could depend on somebody here knowing this. I would never have guessed "Baloon tips" though.

Thanks.
