| #3 Posted on 10.11.05 1201.57 Reposted on: 10.11.12 1202.35 | My wife and I heard this song on the radio a couple weeks ago and I did some research on the wreck after listening. I could have sworn it was way earlier. I was in high school when this happened and the way news was back then, I heard about the disaster when Lightfoot's song was released.
The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald occured on my wife's 12th birthday. Hmmmm.
Gitchagoomee.

I can TOTALLY see why you'd have thought that, based on your reasoning. :) | The Thrill

I even saved file video of earlier coverage of that sinking...somewhere 'round here...
On a lighter note, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" is a GREAT karaoke song to do to get under your friends-who-wanna-sing-dammit's skin...'cause it's longer than an Iron Butterfly drum solo. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
