Good luck on that. Even I'm not at home watching TV on New Year's Eve. (I'm watching TV at some else's house.)

Like most on this board, I have better things to do on New Year's Eve than watch TNA. And even if I didn't, I think being inside watching wrestling on that night would make me suicidal, so I'd have to pass anyhow.

But even if you do go to a friend's house or party for New Year's Eve is a good thing for a bunch of drunk guys to get together and watch so why not put it on New Year's Eve?

And Vince had a comp show later that night on New Year's Eve, culminating with Jericho welcoming in the millenium. If it worked on a Friday Night New Year's Eve, Saturday Night shouldn't suffer much, as long as they have quality, ala Awesome vs. Tanaka in '99 for ECW. Then again, I watch the Peach Bowl on New Year's Eve, so it's just a question of if the wrestling is better than the game. Peach Bowl has the potential for being a pretty good game this year.

Could this be the first time TNA and WWE goes head to head?
