Wonderfully done. This was the first match I saw that actually made me queasy. Still does on the old videotape.
I wholeheartedly agree that the sounds of their screaming helped make the match, but you left out one lasting memory of mine...
After the match is over, and TA has won and left Blanchard bloodied, Blanchard lies alone in the ring STILL SCREAMING! He's still selling that grotesque face-carving/stake-stabbing/whatever, and by Gotch that DAMN well stuck with me...
