The girlfriend and I are always arguing every time I buy peanut butter, I like JIFF EXTRA CRUNCY, and she likes Peter Pan smooth type. So, which brand do you prefer, and do you lke crunchy or smooth?

Jif smooth, 'cause it's so much more spreadable. Crunchy is yummy, though.

As long as it's creamy, and not crunchy, any kind will do.

Smuckers Natural since the grocery store stopped selling the other, cheaper natural brand, whose name escapes me.

Creamy over chunky.

Almond butter is expensive but is reeeally good if anybody has the desire to try something new.

JIF extra crunchy. Creamy peanut butter is a crime against God and man.

I usually eat creamy, either Jif or Peter Pan, but I like crunchy once in a while. So yeah, I'm not too particular.

If someone were to place in front of me creamy, normal, and crunchy peanut butter and I had to chose....

I'd eat all three at once because they ALL taste great. No preference at all for me, I just like any and every kind of peanut butter.

Not a huge PB fan, but if I had to choose, choosy fathers choose Jif - and I prefer smooth, not chunky.

Although... there's this other spread - I can't remember what it is called, but it's somewhat like peanut butter - I had it once at a bud's house - ah, I remember - Nutella or something - It was pretty darn good.

Gotta agree on this one. My friends wife bought one of those mixing/blender things a few months ago from the TV infomercial (you've seen it) and made a homemade batch of almond butter. I'm not sure what the added ingredients were, except for the sugar, but it was G-O-O-D, and that spells great! You don't need Jelly with this stuff.

As far as the peanut butter that I buy goes, whatever is on sale. I usually don't eat the stuff. I like pastrami and swiss on Rye (toasted)....MMMMM

Hannaford (store brand) smooth, low salt.

Regular PB tastes so salty after years of eating this kind, too.

I prefer Kraft's "no sugar added" variety.

That, and "EQULITY" (Dominion's store brand) smooth variety. Good stuff.

Smuckers Natural Crunchy is the best peanut butter I've ever tasted- I only had Skippy, Jiff, and Peter Pan as a kid but Smuckers tastes a lot better.

Add some grape jelly and a cold glass of milk and you have the perfect lunch.
