Once again, the Steelers prove that unless the big game is against the New England Patriots, they ain't gonna lose. I think they ran the ball just about 20 times a row in the second half, and didn't throw the ball the entire fourth quarter. I sit in celebration with Shapiro and all other Steelers fans, as we have now dealt the city of Cincinnati another emotional kick to the balls.

Anyway, use this thread to discuss Week 7 at your leisure.

Nice to see the real Drew Bledsoe has come out of hibernation. Parcells blew the game late though. Little over 2 minutes to go, up 7-3 with 4th and 1 at the 2 he kicks the field goal to go up 7. Should have gone for it, worst case scenario Seattle has to drive 98 yards to beat you.
Nice to see Marty has the Chargers in playoff form. Block kick for a touchdown and fumble in the red zone in the last 3 minutes just has a Marty Playoff ring to it.
How did the Rams lose to the 49ers in Week 1? If not for that, the 49ers would be a virtual lock for 0-16.
Denver learned a valuable lesson: You can get away with screwing around with double digit 4th quarter leads at home and survive, but, do it on the road, and it comes back to haunt you.

"PARKER! LEWIS CAN LOSE"
is my favorite headline that will never be.

Randy Cross redeemed himself as a broadcaster with his parody of analysts' Carson Palmer talk in a falsetto voice.

Heath Miller is EMERGING. Emerging as GREAT. But Ben threw his first interception.

Bledsoe. man.

After the dis Michael Irvin gave the 'Hawks on Monday Night Countdown last week, he better be smooching some major fanny tomorrow night.

Been a long time since the Seahawks one a game on D. I thougt Parcells would have gone for it on 4th at the end too. If they got the first down, game over. If they didn't, the 'Hawks still would have had to go a long way to beat you.

As down as I've been in the Holmgren years with some of the idiotic losses they've put me through, this one felt REALLY good.

Am I the only one who thought the Rams' play calling was about 200% better this week? Gee, I wonder what the difference was?

The end of the Giants game was incredible. I really, really, loved watching Shanahan's face over and over again as the 8 seconds TD play happened.

The Jets are at 2-4 and have Vick and the Falcons to deal with, but Vinny T might just have some magic left in him, so long as they can milk the play action just right.

That Seahawks victory almost (almost) makes up for all the heartbreaking losses we have endured the last 2 years...

That is the best picture I have ever seen in the history of the internet. ;-)

It's amazing the difference in the Vikes between the first and second half. COMPLETELY different teams. I just hope this is actually a turn-around and not a one-game shot just cuz they were playing the Pack.

Am I a bad person for wanting both Detroit and Chicago to lose so the division leader would still be under .500?

You'd have to hope for a tie, since they play each other next week.

The same could be true for the Packers.

However, even if we had won, we'd be in deep doo-doo because of the added injuries to Green and Ferguson. We've now lost our 1 and 2 halfbacks (it is now being reported that Green tore his quad, and is out for the year), and our 1, 3, and 4 wide receivers. While a win would have lifted the Packer faithful, it wouldn't last.

Oh well, I can still look forward to spending Christmas and New Year's Days at Lambeau (and visiting Atlanta to watch my Pack get run over, around and through).

Yeah, there WAS both of those things, too. It really does seem that when our teams meet, the injuries go up, not that either of our teams can afford any more injuries. S'funny, talking with my buds the past couple of weeks, it's been EONS since the one thing keeping our team going is our defense. Nice that the offense showed up for the second half of the game.
