Well, I really don't have much to say here expect that you can't say this wasn't expected. His knees are completely shot. It wasn't his fault for getting that criminal contract. His career year in 2000 and Scott Layden's stupidity attributed to that.

Even then, though, it wouldn't have affected the team's cap number. And doesn't he have two more years left on his contract? I can't imagine any team that would be willing to trade something for his contract; what would it accomplish? | drjayphd

Maybe next year, the same thing as Terrell Brandon's in that four-way swap? He was never going to play for whoever he went to, but it's a contract that they can take in return for a player they don't want, and that contract would be off the books next season. | Mr. Boffo
