According to Meltzer, WWE is trying to bring in Super Porky and Mistico to RAW this Monday. I dunno if this would be a one-time-only thing, or if they'd just be getting a tryout, or what.

Now -- I've heard their names before, and looked at their photos, but I don't think I've seen either one of them in action. Someone else here has, I'm sure -- so let's hear what they're like!

I'm working on thumbnail sketches of the mentioned jumpers for another project.

Mexico Minis: They're still as you remember them from the AAA/WWF partnership; capable of putting on (relative) high spot matches the crowd typically gets into. The main ones I'd assume WWE would be after are split among promotions; the former Mascarita Sagrada/Max Mini is in CMLL as Tzuki, and his partner Mini Nova has taken up the Mascarita Sagrada gimmick in AAA. Other names you should be happy to hear, if WWE's signed them: Mini Abismo Negro, Octagoncito (AAA), Ultimo Dragoncito, Mini Olimpico, and Pierrothito (CMLL). Notable, there's also a Shockercito - a mini version of TNA's Shocker. I can only imagine what they'd do with him.

Brazo de Plata/Super Porky: Putting it mildly, he's a very obese man - but he's incredibly agile for his size and has tons of charisma. Normally a comedy wrestler and a very good one. Fans are very sympathetic to him, so a promoter will leverage that in to a hair/hair match about every summer, and about every time Porky loses. Still, he's untouchable - no loss is going to hurt him in the fans eyes. He's also the most unlikely shoot fighter of all time, though he almost won.

Mistico: the TRUTH. They're trying to repeat Rey Mysterio Jr. in a lot of ways, and despite the obviousness of it, it's working. He's a small skinny high flier with a distinctive gold and silver outfit (playing of Santo's look, which says a lot), capable of jaw dropping high spots. He's been protected in decisions (only one singles loss in the last 14 some months, usually beating top starts clean, which is unthinkable for a guy that young and new), and protected by always facing solid->great workers, so there's a 0.01% chance this is all a mirage, but that'd be the greatest mirage in the history of wrestling. Mistico is the definition of a spectacular wrestler - he gets remarkable destroyed, and pulls out some crazy moves to come back (though the stupid WWE ropes would probably hurt that.)

Will they let Porky keep his "sexy bomba" music? If not, there's no point in brining him in. and they have to have one of the faceless women on the roster dance with him.

I bet Mistico would look small even standing next to Helms.
