Reposted on: 15.10.12 0241.31 | Starts out with a video package with a lot of brawling and some evident backstabbing, etc. Jay Lethal is a good guy here, unlike his role in the OTHER AWA I saw him in last night.
Match 1: AC Smoothe vs Neeno Capone
Newly turned Neeno is now the "Prince of the AWA" and he looks good in the role. Smoothe evidently left the promotion some time ago on bad terms. Take out a really contrived reversing hip tosses segment and it's a fun enough match.
Match 2: Bobby Vee vs Monsta Mack
Mack is in for Homicide, so he says. Mack gets around pretty good for a big guy, teases a squash win, but Vee (who has a Boris Zukhov-like cranium) hangs in and even gets a German suplex on the big fella! Funny sequence at the concession stand. There's a run in for a screwjob closing this one out.
Match 3: For the AWA Light Heavyweight title: Bandido Jr vs Pinkie Sanchez vs Mike Donavon vs Archadia (ch)
Clipped, which is fine. Four-way matches are usually pretty lame and you get the highlites here. Some flashy moves and silly ones too. The finisher is anything but silly, it's plain old nasty.
