Are they free? If not, where can I get tickets? | Promote this thread! | | Snookum

| #2 Posted on 13.10.05 0641.53 Reposted on: 13.10.12 0642.49 | The Wednesday tapings have always been free, but make sure you get there early. The place can fill up and if you get into line too late, you could end up not getting in at all.
The doors open at 7:00. Make sure you get there between 6:00 and 6:30 and you should be okay. Some people get there as early as 4:30, but there's no need to do that. Pretty much any seat in the house is good, although you may want to avoid the middle camera-facing section if you don't want to have to stand up for the entire show. | Mike Zeidler

Some other suggestions for you (or anyone else for that matter) if you come to Louisville:
Davis Arena is in the back of a row of warehouses and you can easily whiz past the place unless you happen to see the small sign for OVW by the roadside. The sign has the logo on it, so look for that.
They've been letting the wrestlers sell t-shirts now to promote themselves, so besides the official OVW shirt, you can get one of those. Don't know if you really want to be the first on your block with a Matt Cappotelli t-shirt, but - hey - you never know.
Show starts at 8:00 and usually runs until 9:30 with the taping. Then they typically do a twenty minute break where they raffle off some stuff (mostly WWE toys) and then have a non-televised final "main event" match.
Fat Tony's, Victoria's pizza place, is pretty decent, but a bit of a drive from the arena. She does hang out there on occasions when not working in WWE, though. So you may want to check it out.
Bardstown Road is not too far off and if you head towards downtown you'll find some good places to shop, like Ear-Xtacy (best music store around), Great Escape (comic book shop with a ton of used DVDs for sale), and Mark's Feedstore (good ribs & burgoo). There's also Fourth Street Live with a bunch of restaurants (Hard Rock, Lucky Strikes, etc) and danceclubs there. So if you're there for the night, check them out.
Oh yeah, and Heyman has been having the guys go out to greet the fans before the shows. Not always, but every so often. Dean & Al usually shake hands with people at ringside during the intermission as well. Just in case you've been needing that Al Snow autograph.
