Amen. He did it more than once during regular-season games this year. And while we're at it, if he's not going to be fired, could someone tell him that it's FOX that employs him and that he's no longer an announcer for the Yankees? Ordinarily, I think the name on the check would be a big clue who he works for, but experience has told me that self-evident is a term with a special exemption for Tim McCarver. | Big Bad

Six others ... five if you don't count Buck Weaver, and four if you believe Shoeless Joe Jackson told management about the fix before the series even started. According to a couple sources, Jackson even asked to be benched for the series so there would be no question he wasn't in on it.
Sorry ... I'm proofreading a new book my company has coming out on not the fix of the 1919 World Series, but he cover-up of the fix by baseball. Did you know that the fix didn't get exposed until September 1920?
