Has anyone ever heard of a football team playing twice in one day? It wouldn't shock me if it has happend way, way back in the day, before helmets and the like. But I believe this has to be a first in the modern age of football. | Promote this thread! | | edoug

Begs the question-- are the Eagles that good, or was their competition that bad?
Edit: Oh, never mind. Having read the article more closely now, the first team they played calls themselves college football's worst team, hee.

Pretty awesome story though. My old high school (which is also teeny tiny) has gotten huge write ups in the local papers twice for going 5-0 after an 0-9 season last year. It feels really weird seeing my old biology teacher on the front page of the Sports section. It's nice to have some good news in Minnesota football once in a while. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
