When you get a fountain drink, what do you call a drink where you put a little of each flavor in the cup?

I have never heard it ordered in Quebec, or Ontario sadly. | Zeruel

It's definately a nationwide thing. From the answers on the DVDVR board and answers here, it's pretty much a "suicide" in America and "swamp water" in Canada. My fave thing is that it actually picks back up as a "suicide" when you get to Alaska. And the "swamp water" pockets in the US are in two places so far: Rhode Island and San Francisco. The rest of California is "suicide".
It's really cool becaquse I figured everybody had a different name for it in every neighborhood. It's weird that it's so pervasive. | Whitebacon

I mean a mix of sprite and lemonaid, or orange and coke is one thing to order, but... Really? That just seems like a good way to make someone screw with your food and/or drink. | AWArulz

I'm a big fan of JUST root beer and orange, by the way, but I "grew" out of all of them when I stopped getting fountain drinks... and now, only open one can at a time.

The next day, one of my students came into class and said the coffee she was drinking was "suicide". Which led some of the other kids to think she had soda in her coffee cup, but it was just a mix of different flavored coffees.
So "suicide" is the term here in NJ. The things I learn on this board... | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
