Bobby Martin is his name, and football is his game - despite the fact that he was born with no legs. Wow. Here is another picture of him lined up at nose tackle. Has anyone seen him play? Can he really move down the field using just his arms well enough to meaningfully participate?

On Real Sports they showed a kid who played football and wrestled with no arms OR legs, and he won matches, and did lots of other "normal" stuff like play video games and typing, and eating with a spoon which was fairly incredible to watch.

Who in their right mind would put this kid out there?"

Hey, Andy, you've got to cut back on the glue sniffing.

And ESPN had a segment on a pro bass fisher who was born with no legs and only one arm, and that arm ended just below the elbow. And yet, he's competitive enough to tour, although he hasn't made a cut.

I think I saw that segment on Real Sports, and in a way, I could see how he could be more successful because of his handicap. You can't tie him up if he doesn't have limbs. All three of these guys have more in the way of onions than most of us'll probably know.

I forget what I was watching or even if it is the same kid (it has to be though) but I saw video of him and it was quite impressive. He runs very well on his hands and he gets through the line quick. I saw him make a few tackles and was impressed. He did a lot better than I ever could. Good for him. He is a credit to the human spirit.
