There is no way he plays this week unless BB gets killed by a hungry and pissed off Ravens defense (a possibility). It is a good move by the Jets as they probably figured they will not make the playoffs and there is no reason to sell the farm for a stop gap like Ramsey/Volek. Ride the year out with Vinny, draft a QB or trade for Rivers next year and keep Vinny as your #2 QB next year while Pennington take a full year and a half to recover.
Of course, I feel Pennington is, as the NY Post put it, Penning-done. No way he comes back from thsi with full strength in his arm. | Mayhem
