Monday Night RAW isn't the only WWE show that is moving.
Starting next weekend, both HEAT and Velocity will now be available to watch on WWE.com.
So be sure to log onto WWE.com next Friday afternoon to watch the inaugural edition of HEAT on the Internet. Then watch Velocity on Saturday morning, starting at 10 a.m. ET."
I can't say enough about how much a good move this is by WWE. Does this mean they're going to be taping THREE shows on Mondays now (Raw, Heat, AM Raw)? | Promote this thread! | | CTX

I'm pretty sure AM Raw is just going to be a recap show with highlights from Raw and no new matches.
Seems kinda strange that they'd rather stick a recap show on when they could just as easily put Heat into the timeslot since they're still going to be producing it. | jwrestle

For instance, you can still see Heat and Velocity in next weekend's schedules over at the websites for Sky Sports 3 (sky.com) in the UK and also FOX 8 (foxtel.com.au) in Australia. Hell, in the UK you can still see "Afterburn" and "The Bottom Line" - God knows WHY you'd want to, but you COULD. | Jackson

Which makes you wonder how far away are the next series of cuts. They are not going to continue to pay people just to run an internet show. | JustinShapiro

| #12 Posted on 26.9.05 1059.44 Reposted on: 26.9.12 1100.01 | Although the internet is available to many people there's still going to be a drop-off of viewers who don't have the internet, don't want to bother to watch online, or have difficulties downloading online programming for one reason or another.
Saying that, I wonder if there would be a place for a series of DVDs or television specials out of all this? How much actual new programming (i.e. wrestling matches and storyline developments) occuring between the two shows combined? Maybe 30-40 minutes a week, tops?
I could easily see a BEST OF VELOCITY or BEST OF HEAT DVDs down the line. Yeah, yeah, I know we're not talking the A or even B-shows here, but there's usually something worth checking out on the programs every so often, and with the ability to give people programing they hadn't seen if they don't watch on the internet, a cheap DVD package wouldn't be that hard of a sell.
Just a thought. | thecubsfan

They were always going to do one or two matches before the taping to try things out before a live crowd and warm them up, but I don't think they'd bother with much post production if they weren't going to do it on .com. I could be wrong.
Best of Velocity/Heat DVDs are incredibly unlikely from a company that's not doing Best of RAW/SmackDown! However, before the .com versions of the shows were announced, the plan was to use the pre-RAW/SmackDown! dark matches as bonus features for PPV DVDs, and I expect they'll still try that. | sentonBOMB

Far more people would have access to the WWE website than subscribe to cable services that include WWE 24/7. Unless you're saying why not ALSO put them on WWE 24/7, in which case I would say that with what's being offered, they would seem a bit out of place. | HeidenreichIsMyHero
