I couldn't be more proud that Jacksonville made it on that list twice. The good news out of that post is you leaving Florida. And clearly no other state ever has anything "crazy" happen in it.

If you go to open a bottle of soda and notice that it's somehow much easier to open than you're used to...If you notice you don't have to twist as hard...If you don't notice the tearing sound you usually hear - you know, the sound of you BREAKING THE BOTTLE'S SEAL...and then you DRINK THE SODA, then I have no sympathy for you.

Personally, I don't know too many people that would pick up a warm bottle of soda and chug it, so although it doesn't say in the article, chances are that it was in a cooler.

Again, it doesn't state it in the article, but if you were both thirsty and tired as hell, maybe talking to one of your buddies, and it was loud in the store....well, the tearing sound of the safety seal on the cap ain't exactly thunderous. That, and some of those caps come off right along with the little perforated ring. I would guess that I've PROBABLY drank from a soda bottle at some point without making 100% sure it hadn't been tampered with. That said, while it is responsible to check this sort of thing (as there are obvious reasons for their creation), how can you not have sympathy for this guy? No outrage at all for a store employee that intentionally did such a thing?

Am I missing something here? This, to me, is pretty much up there with the HS kid and his shirt, and the Father Of The Year candidate....

Wow, an interesting mix of crazy people listed here. Not that there aren't crazy people in every state.

I can actually somewhat understand why the mother of the high-school student wants the book banned because it contains oral sex (and oral sex with a relative, for that matter). But I'm generally anti-censorship, and I haven't read the book, so...

The guy wearing the racist T-shirt deserved to get the crap beaten out of him. Free speech is one thing, but I daresay that falls under the category of hate speech.

Regarding the nude religious nut... hmm. What if God really did tell her to do this? *shrugs*

Yup, anybody who says "I promise I'm not racist" and two sentences later lumps black people into the "people I hate because they think they're better than everyone else" category-- yeah, not only is the guy a racist, but he's an idiot. A big fuckin' idiot. And I, though I'm white, would have wanted to beat the shit out of the guy if I'd seen him wearing that T-shirt. That man's a disgrace not only to white people everywhere, but to the whole human race. And for that matter, so is everybody who's racist.
