We tried the Yahoo calendar, but she:
#1 - Doesn't want to send dozens of individual appointments and annoy her friends away.
#2 - Doesn't want all of her friends to have to open Yahoo accounts to "share" the calendar.
So...any free (or even cheap) options that will let her send the info she wants?
I thought of making a calendar in a Word document, but not everyone has Word or Office.

Build it in word, save it as HTML. Here's a small piece.
