Hope I don't get chewed by starting this thread, but I figured we could use one for possible predictions, match rundown, and such. This is TNA's last monthly PPV before they go to Spike TV and their big PPV event, Bound For Glory. Looks like they are going dark again after this show as well . Its still as far as a throwaway PPV as you can get, which I think . . . we know all about as of late.

Austin Aries vs. Roderick Strong
Interestingly enough, Roderick Strong was in the internet dream match poll last month to face Christopher Daniels at Sacrifice. There've been rumors that Aries is being offered a TNA contract, so this maybe an official start to his TNA tenure. The little I've seen of Aries from ROH I think was fantastic, and I also enjoy Roderick Strong, so I'm really excited about this match. Even more so than Williams who Aries was originally supposed to face. Aries if he becomes a fixture of TNA would be a great potential X Division champion, so I hope this is a start of that.
My pick: Austin Aries.

Chris Sabin vs. Petey Williams
Originally it was supposed to be Sabin/Shocker and Williams/Aries. But apparently Shocker was having trouble getting from Mexico to Orlando for the show, so we get this instead, which isn't so bad. Williams and Sabin had a GREAT match at Turning Point for the X title, and another great match in the first round of Super X Cup II. And if memory serves, I believe Sabin is 0-2 against Williams. There hasn't really been a good feud for Sabin in a while, so I was hoping that would happen with the Shocker thing, but I think this match will still be good. Sabin should take this one.
My pick: The Future, Chris Sabin

Lance Hoyt and Apolo vs. Monty Brown and Kip James
Ugh. Don't really care about this match at all. Though I hope Brown's recent promos are the start of something big for him, maybe finally going back after the world title. He really needs to get away from James though. Hoyt's pretty over with the crowd, but is pretty much a jobber along with Apolo as a TNA superstar. Brown is someone TNA needs to make champion soon or eventually so he should be the one to go over.
My pick: The Alpha Male Monty Brown and dumbass Billy Gunn

3LK vs. The Diamonds In The Rough
I like the Diamonds in the Rough stable, especially David Young. One would think, eventually they will pair Road Dogg back up with Gunn and make them a tag team in TNA. Perhaps something will happen with that here. Not sure. I think the Diamonds would make great heel tag champs, so I hope they win.
My pick: The Diamonds

Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy
Well I hate Jeff Hardy, and I think Bobby Roode is a future main-eventer so I hope he wins. I hope he destroys Hardy pretty much. But I dunno, I have this nagging feeling that Hardy will probably end up winning the match. Not sure what the point of this is, Hardy's had no face time on IMPACT with no build-up or talking about this match even from Roode at all.
My pick: Jeff Hardy

Sabu vs. Abyss
I know they had some matches before, but I've never seen them so not sure what to go on. Sabu's TNA work seems decent enough. Abyss is really fantastic, and jobbing him on PPV to Sabu is the last thing they should be doing. Keep making him look strong as the unstoppable monster, and you know, give him the world title eventually!
My pick: Abyss, or "Ah-beessss!"-Raven

NWA Elimination Tag Team Title Match: The Naturals(c) w/ Jimmy Hart vs. AMW vs. Team Canada (Eric Young and A-1) vs. Sean Waltman and Alex Shelley
The Naturals have held the titles for a while, and the tag team division has gotten kind of stale. I think a title change is due. I like the team of Waltman and Shelley, so I hope they win. But, Waltman I don't think has a contract yet with TNA, so not sure if they'd put a title on him just yet. And I dunno, it looks like the booking is building up to a heel turn for AMW which could freshen things up. I imagine they could possibly feud with the Dudleyz or whatever they are called when they come in to TNA. I think final teams will be AMW and the Nats, and AMW will turn heel to win the titles. Should be a great tag match at least though.
My pick: America's Most Wanted

NWA World Heavyweight Title Match: Raven(c) vs. Rhino
Now is really not the time to end Raven's title reign. Whoever Raven should face at Bound For Glory, they need to sell how long he's held the title and how Raven is the guy to beat. Rhino's off to a great start in TNA, but I don't think should be holding the world title just yet. These guys had some good matches a few years ago in WWF for the Hardcore title, so I'm anxious to see what they do here with the main event spot and the world title on the line. My hope is that they don't go with a hotshot title reign, or some sort of stupidity involving a vacated world title or...Jeff Jarrett.
My pick: Raven

MAIN EVENT - X Division Title Triple Threat Match: Christopher Daniels(c) vs. Samoa "Jaw" Joe vs. AJ Styles
If memory serves, this is the first time this match has ever taken place in the history of professional wrestling. If there is any match to watch the PPV for, I think this will be it, especially after AJ/Joe last month. I really don't know how this match will go down. Liger will probably be at Bound For Glory and face one of these guys, not sure if it will be for the title or not. If it were me, I'd have Daniels win by pinning AJ, then go on to have Joe face Daniels for the title at Bound For Glory, along with another never before seen dream match in AJ vs. Liger. Daniels has faced Liger before as well under his guise of The Curry Man in Japan. Daniels latest promo on IMPACT was amazing, and he's had a great run with the title. I have no doubt that he's a future world champion and the future of the company in general. I think I'll go with my fellow theatre major in Daniels.
My pick: The Fallen Angel, Christopher Daniels
So that's all the matches. Not sure what they plan on doing with Jeff Jarrett on this show. This is the last TNA show before IMPACT goes to Spike, but I'm not sure what they have planned as far as Jarrett goes. Though if I could go the whole night without seeing JJ, I'd probably rate the show a 10.0 out of 10.0.

EDIT:

PWInsider is reporting that the X division title match is going to end the show. Great move and its going to end the show with hopefully the match of the night.

You've got like 10 different guys pegged for who should be world champion or who will be. It's a little funny.

I'm looking forward to tonight's PPV. The X-Division Championship match should be the big highlight. I just don't want a schmozz, since three-way matches have that tendency. The tag team championship match could reveal a thing or two if the newly-paired-up Waltman and Shelley win the straps. Only because it's heavily rumored that WWE is interested in Waltman. If he's pinned early in this match, the writing may be on the wall, one would think.

Raven should retain, but I'd go nuts if Rhino won. It's just way too early for that to happen. It's similar to how RVD was co-headlining a PPV with Steve Austin and Kurt Angle less than two months after joining the WWE.

There are a lot of guys I think should be world champion now or at some point. I think RVD should be world champion. I think Mysterio should be world champion. I think Shelton Benjamin should be world champion in the future.

If there is one wrestler that is world champion material above anyone else in TNA, its Christopher Daniels.

The last time TNA had a 3 way X Division title match was at Slammiversary, and it was awesome. Not what I'd consider a schmozz at all, granted it was under elimination rules. The 3 way Ultimate X match at Final Resolution was also amazing as well.

This is a good point, and its one reason I'm a little anxious about that match. Waltman probably could go back to the WWE...but what would do there? I'd like to see Waltman continue reinventing himself in TNA as he's done most recently.

Okay, the PPV just finished and I say this:

For everyone who is upset about the state of WWE, then BUY SOME FREAKIN' TNA PPVS~!

This was the latest in a streak of great shows that the company has put out. The show had two matches (Aries/Strong, Styles/Daniels/Joe) that I doubt WWE will be able to touch in their upcoming PPVs. And I can't remember any match tonight that'd I'd say was outright bad.

TNA is rockin' it right now, and I only hope it continues throughout their Spike TV reign.

Here, here!

AMAZING show tonight, fellow W'ers. Unbreakable was just that, at the risk of exagerrating. You won't see better wrestling on a grand stage like this right now unless you're watching TNA.

I was off work tonight and I decided to blind order the PPV tonight. This was my first exposure to TNA and all I have to say is...

Now I remember why I like wrestling!

What a main event! I can't remember the last time I got so excited watching a wrestling match; I didn't want it to end. Plus, I was watching the main event with a room full of non-wrestling fans and they were digging it as well. Lots of "ohhs!" and "ahhs!" and "holy shit, I can't believe he did that".

The rest of the PPV was alright. The Abyss/Sabu match satisfied my bloodlust for chairs, tables, and thumbtacks, and Raven and Rhino wasn't bad either for a hardcore style match.

If TNA can deliver just one match like that main event every PPV I will order every one.

And lastly, I just want to say... that muscle-buster is fucking brutal!

Raven and Rhino had an awesome match. Say what you want about him being past his prime and that he should have been given this shot 5-8 years ago, Raven's run as the TNA champ is, in my eyes so far, the best they've had yet. He's carrying himself better then he did back in ECW, I think.

Yes, Jeff Jarrett did a run in on the Raven/Rhino match, but he in no way showed up either one of them. Jeff Hardy is a perfect candidate to face Jarrett at BOUND FOR GLORY. This puts, arguably, the top two most recognizable faces in the company in a match that doesn't take away from the awesomeness that is Raven's blood soaked title reign.

Samoa Joe's gotta be pissed. He know he could and should have won that match. Nice to see Styles get his win back from the last PPV. It's also nice to see a guy of Joe's stature keep up with the skinny guys. Sadly, I had Yokozuna going through my head with that finish, but Joe's no where near as big as he was. Where do they go from here with this though; another three-way?

I can't believe Sabu still does these matches. How does his body NOT collapse? How can he still walk? I know it's 'fake' and all, but the human body can only handle so much, you know.

I'm not a shill when I say this.

You do NOT see matches like this on WWE TV or PPV.

Another FANTASTIC wrestling PPV by TNA.

I was a little disappointed with AJ's winning tonight, but holy shit that was the best match I've seen all year. When Joe did a twisting plancha I nearly soiled my shorts.

Daniels obviously carried the match and had the best moments like when AJ and Joe were going to town on him and then he just popped up and yelled, "STOP KICKING ME!" Before getting nailed back down by Joe and AJ.

Roderick and Aries had a great match.

Sabin finally gets a win over Williams in another great match, and a great return for Bentley and of course, THE BENTLEY BOUNCE.

A personal FUCK YOU to Sean Waltman for pulling a Jeff Hardy tonight. Whatever respect you regained from me is now gone. Waltman's no-showing seemed to totally screw up the plan for the tag title match.

Rhino's pre-match promo was intense and it pretty effectively clarified and symbolized my feelings of WWE right now. Rhino is back and he had a great, bloody brawl with Raven. I'm even happier that Raven won and walked out with the title. No one deserves to go to Spike TV with the world title and Bound For Glory more than Raven.

So now it looks like we get one Ultimate X match at Bound For Glory. Liger will be in a match, but against who? I think AJ vs. Liger for the X title would be an apt pairing. Raven vs. Monty Brown for the main event would probably be a strong choice.

Ok now, if there was ONE WWE PPV that was better than this one, please point it out to me.

If TNA can get the Spike show to look anything like their PPVs and nothing like Impact, we might finally have some competition in this business. That and a lot of haters eating a big ol' plate of crow.

If TNA can put together a show on Spike TV on a regular basis that is comparable to RAW, I WILL buy a few TNA PPVs.

I am quite glad that they seem to be building the promotion around the guys who can wrestle like Samoa Joe, AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels.

I have a feeling deep down that we are going to see Waltman in the WWE soon.

Waltman being Waltman, I can't think of a good excuse of why he no-showed tonight when in the past year its only him and guys like Jeff Hardy that seem to have this problem.

Now 3 more weeks of TNA in the dark agains save for the 2 best of shows on their website .

Unbreakable was awesome. Joe/Styles/Daniels is my favorite match so far this year. Not my favorite ever or anything, but still. Awesome.

Strong/Aries, Abyss/Sabu, and Williams/Sabin were all really good as well. The elimination tag was alright -- they actually did a really good job of putting something together in the wake of Waltman's no-show, I think -- Johnny Candido's a shitty wrestler (from the little we saw) but even that fit the storyline.

Even the worst matches -- 3LK vs. Diamonds in the Rough and Hardy vs. Roode -- weren't bad.

Worth the money, easy.

As much as I appreciate the gains TNA is making, and how their product is continually improving, and am happy they've made it onto Spike TV, and how they have a lot of great wrestlers and great matches..

I still wish it didn't seem like every TNA compliment got accompanied by a WWE insult.

Sounds like a great PPV, though. :)

Dang ... had I known how the Colts/Ravens game would turn out, I'd have ordered this in a heartbeat.

Now if they can pull out a couple of big surprises for the SpikeTV debut ...

Remember 10 years ago when Nitro debuted in a mall & no one thought it would stand a chance? Sure TNA doesn't have Ted Turner's checkbook, but it's worth mentioning ...

It doesn't make much sense in the current storylines though. I'm sure they could come up with something for Jarrett and Hardy to do but Jarrett is already feuding with Raven. I think the better choice would be for Jarrett and Rhino to argue because Jarrett was promised a title shot after Rhino won the title. Which would lead to a Raven vs. Jarrett vs. Rhyno match.

All the old WCW fans will recognize Jarrett, all the ECW fans will recognize Raven and all the WWE fans will recognize Rhino. I don't think Jarrett being in the match will hurt either as long as Raven and Rhino are in there too. Jarrett/Hardy on the other hand could be very ugly.

You could maybe even throw in AJ as the TNA guy, and by giving AJ the title you could say that hey this guy is better than this ex-WCW, ex-WWE, and ex-ECW wrestler.

I think its worth saying and expressing, what we think TNA is doing right, and WWE is doing wrong. Because believe it or not, the WWE product is really slacking off at the moment. PPV's especially.

I think doing both of TNA's original gimmick matches on one show would be a bit overkill. Since they already are going to have an Ultimate X match.
