I hope that I am correct in assuming that we all have a special album(s) that we like to put on before "gettin' down" ...

I have a tie for mine.

"Grace" by Jeff Buckley (specifically for the song "Lover, You Should Have Come Over")
&
"Tidal" by Fiona Apple (Just a damn sexy album)

I like anything instrumental, personally. I can't think of a specific album, but a good mix of Kenny G or Jim Brickman is a great way to get the party started.

I was with this girl once who always insisted on doing it while her Journey's "Infinity" cassette tape was playing in her boombox by her bed..

I can't believe I'm saying copping to this, but in the 90s, I probably knocked more boots to Tori Amos than anything else (and yet I never personally owned a Tori Amos album). That or the Natural Born Killers soundtrack.

Other favorites:
- Parliament/Funkadelic/P-Funk
- The Police - Synchronicity II
- Portishead, Massive Attack, Sneaker Pimps, etc.
- Mazzy Star - So That Tonight I Might See
- Bob Dylan - Highway 61, Another Side Of, Blood on the Tracks.

(You probably won't have to remind me.)

Emiliana Torinni. I just have a mix. Ethereal electronicy stuff. And the girl's dead sexy.

Honorable mentions for Air, Al Green and several forms of jazz.

1. Pearl Jam/'10' - Named after Mookie Blaylok, my ex and I always had sex to that CD. I love hip hop and Eddie Vedder is an arrogant prick, but for some reason I get horny whenever I hear 'Daughter'

2. Sunshine Adams/'Heard it all before' - Anytime I did this girl, she'd put on this song. Good times.... Good times....

3. Beverly Hills 90210 - My first one night stand, this show was playing in the background. When Brandon and Dylan were fighting over Brandon's girl from Minnesota ('You better find out who your real friends are!'). Not an album, but a good memory.

But the definitive album (IMO): Prince. Soft and Wet.

I can't believe no one's mentioned the song "Popcorn" by Hot Butter.

Once, a girl requested "Eye of the Tiger". That was odd.

You should have married that girl there Chief!

I concur with the Portishead and Massive Attack mentioned above. Throw in a little Weekend Players, or if you're gonna get buck-wild The Crystal Method Tweekend is pretty sweet.

This one girl would put on Concrete Blonde - Bloodletting, and I must confess, that was pretty hot.
