I think she's just that skinny. She's still cute though. | Kevintripod

| #3 Posted on 8.9.05 1007.55 Reposted on: 8.9.12 1007.58 | One night when I was going through my cable tv guide, I was excited to see that Norm McDonald was going to be one of the celebrity poker players that night. I figured this episode was going to be hilarious with Norm playing, so I made sure to tune in and watch.
Boy was I disappointed !!! Norm just sat there practically dead silent during the whole show (as if his life depended on whether he won or lost). Even when the rest of the table was joking around and having fun, Norm just sat there like a crazy brooding person while wearing his dark sunglasses during the whole show as if he was on ESPN's World Championship Poker or something. He came off as almost seeming psychotic as he was definitely taking the game way to serious. And when he finally lost, he seemed to really be pissed off and he walked away in a huff. | Spaceman Spiff

I wish they'd sell them as well. Although neither episode is my favorite (cast of Arrested Development one), the two best episodes to watch back to back are the ones that Matthew Perry first got killed in, and then the one when he came back the next year to destroy the second table after studying. There was a guy who was legit embarrassed at how he played and went back after learning all he could (but still funny).

But I don't care for watching the same one more than once. The exception? Lauren Graham in that green top.

I know I've seen that one at least 8 times. They have one on now with Cheryl Hines and Amber Tamblyn.
I like Amber Tamblyn.....as long as she's not in my closet dead and facially deformed.

Yeah I saw that and laughed and didn't she flip off the camera after she got eliminated. I would say god dammit too after that, you have an ace and you fold and the river is an ace. That's about enough to make to say it. | Tribal Prophet

Yeah, the green top's had me watching that episode a few times. That episode's actually got me watching the odd episode of Gilmore Girls (but just when it's on and I'm skipping through channels... honest... really... what, you want to fight or something?) Of course it's on more than The Simpsons is where I live, so it's not hard to catch.

| #12 Posted on 9.9.05 1406.52 Reposted on: 9.9.12 1408.43 | Well, last night's was the first good episode so far this season. The reality "stars" show was jam-pencils-in-the-eyes horrible, salvaged only slightly by Dave and Phil bagging on Fairplay mercilessly. The all-male episode was just dull, and appropriately the most boring guy at the table won. The all-female episode suffered from annoying personalities and too many people who clearly had no idea what they were doing. But finally they got a tableful of people who can both entertain and shut up and play, as necessary. | drjayphd

Nope. Even as a fan in the audience of a PWG show a few months back he was trying to steal heat from AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. He's a complete ass.
I really dug last night's show. I was rooting for Alex Trebek, and he almost pulled it out, but when it came down to it, Cheryl Hines really knew how to work the table. Alex getting punchy toward the end was hilarious. He turned into my dad. | Boston Idol

| #15 Posted on 9.9.05 2122.12 Reposted on: 9.9.12 2122.22 | This first few shows I've seen this season have been really weak with D-list celebs and _awful_ poker. The only fun has been watching Dave and Phil turn heel on their own show by making fun of Johnny, openly questioning why they have sponsors, and bagging on the dismal calibre of play.
I like the show and I like Dave and Phil, but they need more interesting stars and better players. Johnny wasn't interesting, he was annoying, as were most of the other players on that episode.
