Camel Lights and occasionally Pall Malls if the cash is runnin' low.

You guys (and girls)?

PS--Please don't tell me how unhealthy it is to smoke.

Marlboro Reds until Governor Shaft raised them 90 cents a pack.

Now I got a rolling machine and am smoking Farmers Gold tobacco in Rizla filters.

I'm quitting (lemme hear y'all say, "yeah, right")...but for the past 10 years it's been Dunhill.

For a pack of 25, I pay CDN$11.00 (USD$9.18 or so). Fortunately I do less than 2 packs a week at this point.

I quit about 3 years ago but for the decade preceding that my smoke of choice was unfiltered Pall Malls. If I was really, really desperate, I would smoke unfiltered Camels. If I needed time off from work, a pack of unfiltered Lucky Strikes was a guaranteed chest cold and an opportunity to see what kinds of interesting things I could cough up in the morning.

I quit about 6 months ago. Beforehand: Malboro Reds or, when I was in an economic mood, Basics.

Kamel Reds when I still smoked. I had to quit when they became $478.60 a pack in NYC.

Now when I smoke I'm drunk, bumming one and not particular.

But a love a good Punch Rothschild every once in a while, as my pic suggests.

I like Old Port Aromatics, but I've grown to like Al Capones.

I don't like cigarettes, but I have a soft spot for cigarellos.

Before I quit Luckies, or Old Golds.

If I were to start again today, it would undoubtably be with Commanders (the Brand formally known as Phillip Morris). Only because I saw one of the last really Old-School Upper East Side WASPS smoking them.

I started out smoking Player's Light Smooth, and after trying out these terrible Clove numbers, I recently switched to Du Maurier Ultra Light.

Surely I can't be the first menthol man? Marlboro Menthol Lights in the hard pack. Camel Menthol Lights are pretty good as well.

Marlboro Reds if I'm too lazy to roll. Otherwise it's a pouch of Golden Virginia, a packet of Rizla silver papers and Swan filter tips.

And don't complain about the price of tobacco. I paid 5.11 for a packet tonight, which would translate to $9.21 in US currency, according to

I smoke for two weeks before realizing that it wasn't for me. I think it's the only vice I tried that didn't stick.

I will smoke the occasional cigar, and it's a hobby I've tried to develop but I haven't had the time.

I had some friends who turned to pretty decent alcoholics doing the "only smoke when I drink" method.

I've quit for about 5 1/2 years now but I loved my Benson & Hedges Deluxe Ultra Lights... and when I start again when I turn 65 ( a retirement present for me) I hope they are still making them.

I don't smoke, but I always thought the funniest name for a cigarette brand was "Smoker's Choice." I used to rag on my ex-g/f for using a brand with such a name.
