Yes, I know it's also the worst Bond film, but damnit, Yaphet Kotto 'blowing up' at the end was awesome. Also, it introduced the world to the beautiful Jane Seymore. | Nuclear Winter

For me it's a tie between Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun. Live And Let Die has delicious camp and the awesome car/boat chase (with the FANTASTIC boat jump OVER A STREET) whilst Man With the Golden Gun has the awesome Christopher Lee as Fransisco Scaramanga. | StaggerLee

As far as the Roger Moore era, though, definitely The Man With The Golden Gun....that I admit to. Moonraker was silly, campy and not very good by comparison but dammit if I'm not hooked in every time I see that it's on. | Oliver

A better questions is "what's your favorite Bond book?" The books are great reading, and Ian Fleming is a genius writer. My personal favorite is "You Only Live Twice," where Fleming manages to hold his readership spellbound through an entire chapter that consists of describing a game of (wait for it)...Rock, Paper, Scissors.

| #15 Posted on 13.9.05 0209.48 Reposted on: 13.9.12 0212.38 | On Her Majesty's Secret Service is tremendous. George Lazenby is excellent in this and Diana Rigg is stunning. But this movie features the most vile portayal of a Bond villian to date: Telly Savalas as Blofeld. Not only is he bent on world domination, but when Lazenby foils Telly's plans he gets the most brutal revenge:
Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
| He has Diana Rigg assassinated immediately following her marriage to Bond. Cut down by a hail of bullets driving away from the church. It's what alters Bond's psyche forever and never allows him to get that close to anyone again, at least for more than a couple of hours. |
Simply great!
