I don't drink alcoholic stuff, so I'll nerd up this thread. I've discovered Lite Hawaiian Punch is mighty tasty. My other favorites are Nesquick or Vanilla Pepsi.

2 of the only 3 beers I'll touch, too. (Replace Molson with Labatt's and you've got me 3.)

As far as hard liquor, I've made the mistake far too often of mixing vodka with chocolate milk. One tends not to taste the vodka, and one tends to drink far, far, far too much.

I hate beer. It doesn't taste good and it's alcohol content is pitiful.

I usually go with Johnny Walker Red Label straight, thought it is fun to put the lime in the Coke you nut, mix em both up, and throw Red in there.

Also a fan of Grey Goose, Midori, 151, and Jack Daniels straight.

But if I must mix a drink, Screwdrivers and Mudslides and White Russians oh my.

Fosters or Stella for beer.

I often carry a hip flask filled with whatever cheap supermarket vodka i can find, or scotch. Sometimes i'll mix it with a coke.

It really depends on the situation. Mostly, I'll drink beer. My favorite would be cold. I do enjoy darks, stouts, etc., and I generally avoid (though not completely dislike) wheat beers or hefeweise style because of the dryness, beers with any fruit in it because it generally causes a bizarre taste, the same goes for chocolate stouts I've been seeing lately, although so long as it's ice cold, I'll take it, even a Strohs, Pabst Blue Ribbon, or Schlitz. If I had total control and every beer was available to me, like at the Capitol City Ale House, I usually stick with lager. Brooklyn Lager is tops, Sam Adams Boston Lager is much easier to find although far more robust, Yeungling Lager if it's BYOB and I risk sharing. Other all-stars on the list would be a draft Heineken, which to me has none of the innate skunkiness of the bottled variety, Smithwick's, a proper poured draft Guinness, Magic Hat No. 9, and Miller Lite.

Now, if I'm at a bar or club, and it's serious time for drinking, I go with shots of clear Tequila, 3 at a time; rail, Corazon, Petron. No training wheels (that's no salt or lime if you don't know). I go through one of those bizarre rituals, and that's all the liquor I'll need all night.

That's a badass way to go. My wife does something similar (2 rounds of 2 shots w/ wheels), and she's one of the pound for pound toughest drinkers I know.

If I'm doing liquor on a night out, I'll go through two orders of a double scotch on the rocks, Dewars if they have it. The first goes quick and the second is for savoring through the night. If the scotch selection is lacking, there's always a good bourbon or two.

But, most of the time I'm drinking beer instead. Brown ales, milk stouts, and IPAs are tops, but I almost always mix it up and never order the same thing twice in a night. If there's something on cask, no matter what it is, I'm getting one.

My answer of nearly five years ago in this thread makes me very happy that nowadays I generally drink very rarely, and when I do it is usually a couple glasses of wine with dinner or some good cheese. I don't miss waking up on the bathroom floor.
