Was that building in the same place that the maternity wing of the "IWK Health Centre" is now? I do remember when first built it was the "IWK-Grace" but I'm guessing the Salvation Army are no longer involved now.

They had boarded the plane when my birth mother's water broke... about six weeks too early. They rushed her off the plane and I was delivered in a small side room of the Delta Airlines terminal. I was then taken to St. Josephs Hospital where I was 'picked up' by my mom who was adopting me from a much-too-young girl who's family couldn't handle having a child with a child.
To her credit, I understand that my birth mother decided to have me and not have an abortion because my father had died in a car accident and she didn't want his child not to have a life.
I'm thankful for this.
