$3.79 out here near Downtown L.A. This is starting to get a little ridiculous.

I forgot to look before filling up last time. Halfway through filling I saw I was paying $3.89.

I just got this

We're down in the low $2.30s here. Thank God. - JayJayDean

as a random quote. Sadly now we are up around $3.70 for regular.

The only saving grace is one gets a four cents discount per gallon if they pay cash at this place.

And about 5 weeks later, we're up to $3.49

$1.239 Canadian per litre.

This works out to $1.216 US per litre.

This, in turn, works out to $4.60 US per gallon.

$3.599. Considering we are heading to 4 bucks, at least in the places that haven't hit 4 bucks yet, do we break the 5 barrier if a hurricane actually does something in the Gulf this summer?

Same here.

Every poll I've seen and every "gas expert" on the news channels all say that we are now using less gas, yet gas will still continue to climb over 4 bucks. It's so not fair.

As we prepare for a trip to West Virginia, gas here broke the 4 dollar a gallon barrier with one station at $4.019 and almost everyone else at $3.999.

Tuesday night, on my drive home, I saw $3.82 at a BP. Yesterday, same station, $3.87. I'm pretty sure we're going to see $4 around here before Memorial Day.

Unfortunely, we're already at $4 here on Long Island for regular for most stations. The least expansive I could find within 15 minutes of home was $3.95. At least it's not disel: I'm seeing $4.75 and up at some stations.

$3.95

Do you know what's much worse though? A six pack Of Sam Adams, Pete's, Blue Moon, and other good beers is running $9.49 at my local Albertsons.. This is, of course, very related to the current gas prices. I don't even want to get into 12 pack prices for Sierra Nevada.

Well, at least I bought a case of New Castle on Sunday for $21 something at Costo on Sunday.

But at least with booze you can buy bulk if you aren't broke and lock in the price before it goes up again, rather than with gasoline where you can realistically only carry what your tank will hold. $3.84 here, with diesel slowly creeping towards $5 at $4.75.

$3.79 here.

These days I actually have to force myself to look at the price listed on the sign because it's so depressing.
