The program allows you to hook into a social network specifically designed to inform you about the quality of the sites you're visiting. It does this via a plugin to Firefox that's pretty simple to set up. Once you're set up, it serves two functions:
- You can click a button to write a report about any site you visit. There are three basic rankings (good, bad, dangerous) but you can get as descriptive as you like.
- You can get information about the rankings other people (such as friends using the program, for instance) have given the site you're visiting by adding them as informers. Plus, it integrates with Google on the client-end to adjust your search results based on the rankings of your informers (a feature I find *very* cool, since it sometimes makes it easier for me to find what I'm looking for).
And you can't beat the price: free.
Maybe we can get a network of W's going or something... :)
