Anyone else seen this yet?

I caught it yesterday afternoon and laughed until I thought I would puke.

Run, don't walk. I haven't liked a movie this much off the first viewing in years.

Highest possible recommendation.

The soundbites from the website alone (thearistocrats.com) make me cry with laughter. Carlin's super-detailed telling of the joke, Kevin Pollack telling the joke while in Walken mode, and Gilbert Gottfried's "longshoreman" remark ... Wow, I MUST see this film.

It's not much of a joke.

A family walks into a talent agent's office and says they've got a great idea for an act. The agent says he doesn't book family acts, but they persuade him to take a look at theirs. It is at this point that the comedian goes into graphic detail of the most disturbing, disgusting and alltogether wrong description of an "act" they can think of - generally involving some combination of pedophilia, bestiality, incest, rape, shit, piss and anything else you can think of. The agent is impressed and asks what they call the act. They replay "The aristocrats!"

Like I said, it's not much of a joke. The reason the movie works - or why I'm assuming the movie works seeing as there's no theater in the Pittsburgh area showing it yet - is because each comedian changes that middle part of the joke, putting their own unique stamp on the hideous depravity, all attempting to top one another and tell the most horrible version yet.

WRONG

The correct answer is www.justfuckinggoogleit.com

Now, for a REAL spoiler, tell us: How was Bob Saget?

According to the soundboard on the official site:

He threatens to send his version to all the kids on Full House. I'd pay good money to see Candace Cameron-Bure's reaction.

He was a delight, as always. One of the two better tellings of the joke in the whole movie. Comparable to Gilbert Gottfried.

Bob Saget is awesome in this. It's just amazing to watch, and hear the things they come up with. Definitely some things in it that will make your eyebrows raise a bit. And Gilbert Gottfried is awesome in it. To say any more about this film would be to ruin the fun of going in and seeing it.

You clearly have not had the pleasure of seeing Saget doing stand-up...it's some of the bluest, raunchiest material going.

My introduction to Saget was through HBO's Young Comedians back in the early 80s. His jokes were fantastic. { Sorry, you must be logged in to see this text! }

Bob Saget did three nights at the Improv in Tampa and I went with about 7 other people to his first show. There were over 20 walk outs less then half way through his act. These were older people who, obviously, were there to see the family friendly guy they were used to from Full House and not the REAL Bob Saget.

You really have to feel sorry for Saget. I'm sure he made good money off "Full House," but since then he's become a punchline to jokes or requires a disclaimer for anything else he does now. I agree his act's always been a little raunchy, but in appearances I've seen him do (such as on "The Best Damn Sports Show Period"), it seems almost forced...like he's going out of his way to completely and utterly destroy that image. It's completely understandable, but at times I'm torn as to whether or not the raunchiness is sincerely who he is as a comic or if it's partially an act to completely separate himself from the Danny Tanner character. Either way, I don't feel like that's ever going to happen unfortunately.

Edit - Note to self: it's Saget, not to be confused with secondary Street Fighter II boss Sagat.

I can live with Saget in Full House. But America's Funniest Home Videos? Eeeew. that was some of the worst comedy lines ever he had in that.

I never knew what the aristocrats was about. Saw the Southpark version of it, grinned and chuckled but was boggled by the "punchline"..now that I know what it's about (a friend told me a few weeks ago) I wanna see this thing. Hope it appears somewhere near Hollaqnd one day.

I really didn't like the movie. It was interesting seeing all those comedians in one movie but it was just...eh it dragged.

I personally didn't find Gottfried's delivery in the post-9/11 roast of Hugh Hefner that amazing. It actually looked kind of sad to me along with Schneider's over-reaction. But then, maybe hearing the joke so much, so many different ways just de-sensitized me to it.
