Yes, I agree completely.
As for not putting Eugene's name on it? It's a Eugene shirt, putting Eugene's name makes sense. If you don't want to buy a shirt with Eugene's name on it that's fine, but you shouldn't say it shouldn't have Eugene on it, when it's Eugene shirt! I don't go to the store and ask for a Mets shirt and then tell them "hey, I don't want one with the Mets name on it"
But yeah, I don't know where in the world the Inspirtaion for a New Generation came from. Not only is this not a gimmick or storyline they've used, but it's also not true, and would be awfully scary if it were true. | OMEGA

Who would wear a Mets shirt anyway? :-)
The coolest shirts are the ones that give no clue whatsoever as to what they're promoting. I wouldn't wear a Eugene shirt with Eugene's name on it because either a) "it's obviously a wrestling shirt" or b) I don't want to explain who Eugene is to those who don't know.

It sure does... and I don't know about you, but wouldn't the use of "What's your name? Where you from?" seem to indicate that they're at least thinking about letting Eugene actually keep the medal? Hmmm... | Jim Smith

In general people want the shirt their favorite celebrity wears, not the shirt that does the best job promoting their favorite celebrity. Nobody buys the shirt with Superman's picture on it, they want the one with the big "S" on it. People wear Mets shirts that say "Mets" on them because...that's what the Mets wear when they're on the field. The message people want to send is not "I really like so-and-so," it's "I'm just as cool as so-and-so, because we have the same cool shirt." That's why people buy shirts that say "Austin 3:16" and "nWo" and "The Champ is Here," and don't buy Wrestlemania 21 shirts that nobody but jobbers wear backstage.
Of course, in Eugene's case, even if WWE sold a shirt like he might wear, it would have his name on it anyway because Eugene has his name written on all his clothes. But since Eugene is a dumbass, that just kinda goes to show my point. | TheMikeSays
