WWE does a good job of matching names to faces for newbees, (so does NJPW and I'm guessing most major Japanesse groups) but the Mexican lucha libre companies aren't really that far along at this point;
CMLL has a roster of about 100 people and a roster page 12, including one guy who jumped to AAA two months ago
AAA's website isn't even up anymore. I figure they just stopped paying the bill.
IWRG's (B-Level lesser promotion that brings in top names) has a roster page if you dig for it, but it's got 5 guys who aren't even regular people (and yet, if you google their site, you can find profiles of regular people they don't list. Weird.)
So, with a lot of help from other people, I put together a database of AAA, CMLL, IWRG workers - if you happen across a lucha show on TV, and don't know who's who, this is perfect for you. There's a main page with links to champions for each promotion (needs more work) and more information on my CMLLBlog (link secretly hidden in the signature of my every post.) Usually it's when the PWI 500 comes out, and I try to figure out how many are with each company. Then I get to maybe 100, can't figure out which company a guy is with, and I give up. | pieman

| #4 Posted on 2.8.05 2101.04 Reposted on: 2.8.12 2101.04 | this may be a really stupid question, and I haven't caught any of the lucha shows on Galavision in a couple months, but are the CMLL and AAA roster pages not current or have that many guys just changed companies in the last few months? I remember Hector Garza and Gronda specifically being with AAA and Shocker, Konnan, and Vampiro being with CMLL. If that's the case, I guess i've really missed out and need to catch up.
I always enjoyed CMLL's talent and setup more (I think they are the better group in Mexico, aren't they?). Either way, that is a really good setup to match names and faces.
one last thing, Mini Ozz sorta reminded me of The W's own Zeruel
edit: nixed the Lady Apache question since she's listed under "other".

TV is horribly lagged and has just caught up to the last of those changes in the last couple of weeks. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
