The bad part is that OpenOffice.org is about 60 MB to download. So maybe* someone else can get you going with a smaller program.
EDIT: I deleted this momentarily when I could figure out how to do it. But you choose File > Export as PDF. So it can in fact do that.
*Have you ever been typing a really simple word, and all of a sudden you can't remember how to spell it? That happened to me when I got to maybe. It's the weirdest thing.
