We're 3 weeks out from the biggest PPV of the summer (or was that the Great American Bash?) ... I was wondering how my fellow W's felt that the card would shape up.

I'm hoping they don't pull the trigger on a Edge/Matt Hardy match. Maybe just Edge challenging Hardy to show up and then having a macth to boost Unforgiven. I think they might have to have another Kane/Edge match simply because their feud isn't over. I haven't a clue what else Raw is gonna put on there cause Carlito/Shelton or Show/masters don't sound too gret. | Mr. Boffo

US Championship-Fatal Fourway-Orlando Jordan vs Chris Benoit vs Booker T vs Christian. I thought I was going to be unique in suggesting this match but I see Mayhem has already done it.
They should really have something with the Mexicools. I mean, they've been here a month, and what have they done?
Given the news of signings, I am guessing that they will have a 6-man-tag pitting the Mexicools vs. Paul London, Jamie Noble, and Brian Kendrick. What will Kendrick do though, since London has taken his "running to the ring" gimmick? Or if they aren't ready, then um, Paul London, William Regal, and Scotty 2 Hotty?
There should be one more match from Smackdown. Either it'll be a WWE Tag Team Title Rematch, featuring Heidenreich & Road Warrior Animal vs MNM, or it will be Melina (and possibly Jillian) wrestling against some bimbos.
Looking below, I see Mayhem is looking for Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio part (I can't keep track). He's probably right. I forgot about that, probably because I'm kind of bored with it.
On Raw, I don't know. I was thinking that Raw this week would have Shelton Benjamin & the Big Show vs Chris Masters & Gene Snitsky. If that's the case, then it seems likely that they'll have Big Show vs. Chris Masters. Everyone seems to think that Eugene vs Kurt Angle will go on for a while, so I'll say that they'll have Eugene vs Kurt Angle at the PPV. Hopefully Kane vs Edge is over now, but what does that mean for Matt Hardy? Like I said, I just don't know. | Pizza Delivery Jones

Don't even joke about that! Somebody will have the idea to go mask vs. hair and then we'll get stuck looking at Rey's stupid face or uncle Eddy's beautiful locks will be shaved. The trouble is that the Kane/Edge feud was over weeks ago, and its just running on autopilot now to give Matt something to run-in on.
I'd like to see a slow build to Hardy/Edge, but it's become clear that WWE doesn't know how to keep Edge busy until the storyline allows Hardy to do more than get tackled by security. The Kane feud is redundant in the face of Hardy/Edge, and it won't ring true for Edge to start feuding with someone else when the character clearly has bigger things on his mind, i.e., Hardy. But you can't have him cool his heels because the only way Matt can plausibly attack him is if Edge has somewhere to be.
I could see WWE booking it so that Edge and Matt have an unsanctioned fight at Summerslam that ends with both men fleeing (Edge from the beating he's taking, Matt from security) to set up something more resolute down the road. | CRZ

No no no. You ALREADY get a "predict the PPV" thread I don't particularly like but have allowed, so long as it's within a week of the actual show, just to prevent threads like these. I don't plan on extending the courtesy to "predict the card" threads, because it only leads to fantasy booking, which is usually really crappy.
